Hey everybody, I’m Bryan, a 23 year old premed student from Ut. No experience at all with pheremones, but I’m mighty curious 😉 After having read all the newbs guides I’m thinking instant shine might be a fun start to see how it all works. A little about me…I study lots. I have to cause I’m taking the mcat in 9 months. I’m into musical theatre, I’ve been singing and dancing forever, and am always in some sort of production or choir or some such at my university. I play a lot of racquetball, am reasonably fit, and used to do bodybuilding, and decided to do something that fit my genes better. I don’t do clubbing, I don’t even drink, you might say I’m into cultured and well rounded ladies, ones who enjoy everything from jazz clubs to a symphony to rock climbing gyms. I’m wondering about pheremones vs colognes…is it ok to mix and match, or should they be mutually exclusive? If its any help, my newest fave is lucky #6, cheap and gets lots of people saying “mmm, you smell good…” Well hey, once again hello to all! ---

Welcome. [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) is good to start with. You also might want to try ih and io. You can use them with most colognes. They have a neroli cover in them, but it harmonizes well with many modern colognes. ---

You can use your favorite colognes together with pheros. I suggest you “composite” them. See my journal for more details. Also, have a look at Snook’s rookie guide. Its one of the stickies in the mens area. ---

well, thinking i’ll buy CTTM2 and spaceland…they just seem too much fun to resist! read a post saying not recommended for newbs…why is this? anything i should make sure and watch out for with them ---

all right, bought Instant Shine and Come Talk To Me Mix 2 with a togo of [Instant Female Magic](https://a314.com/product/instant-female-magic/), with two emply 5mls to mix…i’m thinking of mixing 1:1:1 Instant Female Magic, IS, and my favorite cologne like tater suggests in his journal 😉 and then i dunno what, maybe just some IShine with another cologne. we’ll see, thanks for the advice all!
