So rub a small amount of hand lotion on my forearms and then apply? Also, that means you don’t put it on after you’re clothed like cologne? ---

I usually do - oil app points can be smaller/easier to control compared to sprays. But yes, just the bare minimum lotion needed to cover your app points, then leave it a couple of minutes to settle-in. I usually apply the lotion just before I put my shirt-on and tie my tie then the oil straight after. The lanolin in the lotion reduces absorption and barriers your skin to the bacteria that promote breakdown - ensure you use a good quality natural/Triclosan-free lotion as the cheap shit is usually laden with it and Triclosan does for pheros very effectively. Also watch if you need to clean an app point with hand gel or simlar - rinse well before reapplying as any residual Triclosan on the skin will wreck the application. Lotion does work with sprays as well but TBH, the amount of extra time you get is so short, I seldom bother. ---

Since the starter kit has everything mentioned in it I will probably get that, since I’m a skeptic what would you recommend that I purchase by itself and to try and convince me before I spend over $100? ---

Probably IS or IJ - either of them tend to produce the most obvious effects - and maybe self effects too. Another way to look at it is that the individual Mones already discussed add-up to just short of $100, so for a little more you have the lot and AD’s warranty is amongst the best there is - so don’t hesitate to throw it back at them if you don’t get-on. You will get your money back. 🙂 ---

I like IS and use it a lot, but its effects are a little subtle unless you put yourself in situations where you might reasonably expect a potentially observable change (i.e. don’t expect big reactions in passing in a corporate hallway if you spend most of the day alone in your own office). It’s good for meetings, interviews and light social events. Also learning to accurately observe/gauge effects is often an important part of the learning experience with pheros. You start to notice IOIs – but avoid reading too much into every gesture: it _is_ easy to kid yourself or overthink a positive hit) How much did you apply? One spray may not be enough to produce immediately noticeable (to a beginner) effects in “target poor environments”. 2-3 should be safe. If you use too much the OD effects alone will convince you that pheros clearly do SOMETHING that you can’t otherwise explain (I’ve never ODed on IS, or tried to, but some others, like the IJ that mobo suggested, OD is pronounced and unmistakeable. I was surprised that he suggested it as a first test, unless he had that in mind.) ---

I have noticed a lot more of the subtlety lately. I deal cards at a casino and since I’ve been using it I don’t really get jerks and I usually have a table full of happy people. I flip out cards so I apply to the backs of my wrists for sure. What is IOI? I got the 1x so after a couple times instead of 2 sprays I did 4. One to each jugular vein, on to the back of my wrist and rubbed it into the other, and one to the back of my head. Trying to figure out which to try next. Of the five products there, #1 is a brand nobody ever heard of, whereas three of the others actually have pretty good reviews. My psychic powers say #1 probably pays the highest affiliate commission.
