I’m a very shy gay guy in Montreal who can never seem to muster up the courage to approach the men I find attractive. I heard about [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/) in a local gay magazine and was wondering if they really work and if any of them are made specifically for men to use in finding other men. Hey JPmf! Welcome to the forum! To help you as well, you may look into Instant Openess. For me, I have less of a problem talking with others when I am wearing it. [Instant Openness](https://a314.com/product/instant-openness/) is great for starting conversations and breaking the ice, for males and females alike. And Mystery Boy is made specifically for male to male encounters. Yes, they do work. Take some time to read through this forum, you will find a ton of real, true experiences with these products. ---

Hey JPmf, As a straight guy, I have found that the androsterone-containing pheros can give me more confidence and “balls”. However, since you’re a gay guy you may respond better to the pheros designed for females, and you may respond better to the female pheromones like Instant Sexiness A, which makes the women report that they feel more confident. A great phero for everybody is Instant Shine. Puts me in a good mood. Puts other people in a good mood. Great stuff. It’s a staple of nearly everyone’s arsenal, even if they’re very experienced. Try combining that with [Instant Openness](https://a314.com/product/instant-openness/) or Instant Honesty, or Come Talk To Me. That will give you a push in the right direction. Welcome to the forum. Everyone’s giving you great advice and [Mystery Boy](https://a314.com/product/mystery-boy/) should definitely be something to try when it comes back in stock. If you are shy I’d get IO IH and IS, or IS and cttm2. When I use IO by itself or with IS I have pretty shallow conversations, but conversations nonetheless. But with IH I really get to know the people I’m talking to. Something like 3-4 IO 3 IS, and 2 IH for me. A314 would give you some confidence as a self effect and make other men respect you slightly more I think and may consider you slightly out of their league. But this confidence boost might be just what you need and some IS and IO would make them feel great too and less intimidated and then IH would get the conversation somewhat deeper. good luck! ---
