does anyone have information on the dangers of uncontrolled 'none usage? im talking high doses that by anyones nose would be unacceptable… i have a theory that super high doses are negative around children, and would like the theory eradicated or proven. honestly id like to think it perfectly safe, but intuitively i think not… ive had advice to the contrary as well.

My experiences with high none doses have been making me very aggressive.. like when I walk around, I literally feel like I’m on the prowl and ready to attack. Then if I’m not being active especially, then all that energy goes to my head and gives me a headache.

Hey, chocolate, esp. dark chocolate, really wires kids

I’ve seen this so many times, they eat a slice of dark chocolate birthday cake and go running around nuts and screaming… you’d have to do something in a controlled environment… then a good scientist would want to carefully define what “messes with” translates into behaviorally, and are there trigger thresholds in nanograms or picograms per liter of air, does the exposure have to occur for a given amount of time… a good study would behavior versus a time/dose curve, assuming, which is a big assumption, that a consistent, quantifiable behavioral shift can be identified… and more complicating… can that behavior be consistently measured ? Then every other variable would have to be know as much as possible… such as is this more true around certain diets, or times of day, or when there is emotional stress in the family system…? Are kids who grow up in naturaly high androstenone, such as an extended family with a number of heavy laborers who come home soaked in sweat, households naturally exposed to these molecules and with what consequences ? Is it inversely possible that underexposure to [pheromones](https://a314.com/) in white collar, bath obsessed small nuclear families with good air filtration systems actually deprives the child of necessary factors ???.. has some behavior been socially defined as desirable when it may only mean that some behavior means children are more easily controlled but also lacking in spontaneity and capacity for original thinking ??? Does exposure to pheromone stimulation improve visual acuity, or motor skills, or a differentiated sense of self ???.. I honestly have to wonder… **because as a society we are becoming prisoners of how we define a “normal child” … what looks to me like healthy primate behavior in young kids where a great number of essential synaptic linkages are being formed through rambunctiousness, imaginative play, physical exploration of the world are now being “defined into deviance” as having ADD, or ADHD or whatever** … all I see coming out of this are a bunch of overcompliant, low to flat affect, socially inept, blobbish couch potato corporate automotons who are good at fiddling with buttons and can’t hold a conversation for more than three minutes and walk around with poor spatial orientation like they just crapped their pants and cant tell east from west… I mean, this is what we are shooting for as a healthy society ???😮

i can philosophise all day long on societies shortcommings, but one thing is certain and only few may agree…
when you have children of your own, you KNOW when they aint acting right. you know when a cough isnt just a cough… you know when there is a belly-ache and when they are just full of shit because they dont want to go to school… people with kids will recognise that statement. we have heard the speeches from people who think babysitting or living with a child in their house means they are qualified to speak about how children should be raised or what they need. i wont say anymore about that subject because everyone thinks they know about things they have not lived, and i can theorize on what it must be like to go to war, but im not there.
that being said, i still feel added and unnatural 'none (as much as horny men that arent getting as much as they would like may argue) is still affecting children in close proximity, ive witnessed it first-hand. an anomoly? possibly. but id like to hear that from people with experience…

Hey Lor, are you asking by chance because you have children? I’ll comment on this, but not from experience. I remember awhile back that Jasmin said something about wearing -none gives her a headache. So… yeah -none may not be the best for kids. Well I wore a mixture that included -none (TUTH) around my neice and she didn’t show any bad effects from it. Well she is from a spanish side of the family, so perhaps everyone is already accustomed to alot of androstenone exposure and macheesmo. lol

Tacitus, step away from the chocolate or whatever pheromone bottle you’ve being sniffing … I think you’re having an OD.

Your “philosiphizing” about pheromones impact on social behavior doesn’t apply to this particular question because we’re not talking about natural pheromones at normal concentrations and especially because we’re not talking about fully developed or fully socialized adults. In this case we’re talking about [synthetic pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) at possibly astronomic concentrations which are being introduced into an immature, malleable childs environment without any knowledge whatsoever of the effects these _chemicals_ can have on their short-term or long-term social behavior.

I don’t think any responsible person would allow these untested and unregulated substances to be used around their own kids _ **if their kids were perceived to be sensitive to them** _. To get back to what Lor is saying, only a parent can truly judge what their children can tolerate. And their rules and reasons should be both heeded and respected. The ethics of using pheromones to influence an **adults** behavior are arguable at best, and boundaries or lines need to be drawn somewhere. Parents are the ones to draw those lines. And in my case, at least, children are that line.

Pheromones should be treated like any drug or chemical around children, that is to say that their use should be restricted and monitored. And I hate to admit it but this thread brings up the fact that it could be argued that pheromones are unethical to use around ADULTS.

So, how do you like _ **them** _ apples?

Rob, no amount of “natural 'none” equates to what most guys think they need to go out and have fun. maybe you were wearing it in a way that was balancing/normal/appropriate.

i have to laugh when i hear “my sister” " my neice" my “baby cousins” … all were supposedly not affected by any 'none any man wears… i fail to find many men that spend more than an hour with these kids, lol, and thats being generous. how long would anyone here say they watched these kids afterwards, and if they did not “display” a problem in front of you, does that mean they are not in their nerves and in their minds a mess? again i can only speak here from experience watching well after a mere hour. this has to be a parent issue.

I take it you’re having an experience with your own children?

I remember reading an article a while back, about a study regarding newborn babies and pheromones. To sum up the findings concisely, the newborn babies were able to differentiate the [pheromone scent](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/) of their mothers at a very young age. I believe they used the mother’s sweaters.

Actually here, I hunted down [an article](http://www.anapsid.org/pheromones.html) that touches on the study.

Based on that, I don’t think that some children, particularly young children, would take to a drastic change in pheromone signiatures too well… especially when something like androstenone, which creates such a profound physical prowess, is introduced at unnatural levels. Its possible that pheromones play a greater role in how children percieve others. Ever meet a child that was scared or intimidated by someone for no apparant reason at all?

As we grow older, we rely more heavily on visual stereotypes to form our perceptions of others. Learning to more faithfully read people on the fly based on their appearance and mannerisms is something that comes with age. Its nothing anyone wants to admit, but we worry about our physical appearance more as we grow older, because we know that how we look projects certain assumptions about our personalities and lifestyles.

Children, on the other hand, have not formed these types of stereotypes, at least not to a complex extent. Knowing that, to what extent do pheromones play in how children percieve others?

I wouldn’t call it dangers, neither a studied observation, but few days ago by mistake I wore moderate -none + IFM around my 6 yrs old son, and he displayed the normal, or just slightly more, the usual attitude and compliance to his dad. Could be his own mood, nothing very glaring different.

What I did notice though, that he acted terrible to his mom the next morning, argue-ville, talkback-fest, and only stopped when I told him to stop.

Taking out a breather from over compliance on the next available person ? .. Maybe.

or maybe it will now take a stronger signiture from mom to come across as the boss when she needs to. thats assuming you wear it daily. and moderate does not sound irresponsible at all… wearing it with the knowledge of what you can handle and not going overboard is a big factor. you apparently know what your doing.
im thinking along the lines of newbies using it like an aftershave LOL and not understanding that if its affecting them ,and affecting their girl, it sure as hell is affecting a child.
i have not had experiences that have made me anti-'none.
actually, to a small degree i dig the stuff.
i wear it myself when i put TE/w on, which isnt often (thank god or i’ll hear about it) and i enjoy the results (most of the time, lol) but wonder about the guys playing with straight unadulterated 'none.
this is when my only opinion is to stick with MHarris’s 'none products that are dosed…and need to be re-applied over and over to have a bad OD . im not convinced a negative can result even from that, as i havent heard anything to that effect yet. 😉

Really? I was visiting for a holiday and visiting family for like a few weeks. Considering I do not visit my family that much throughout the year since they live so close; so I spent quite alot of time around my parents and sisters and brothers and their children with a few of my friends, etc etc. Italians and especially Spanish people are very family oriented.

On the side, the kids are unusually expressive and I’d know right away if there was something wrong. So yes, the -none doesn’t affect them like it’d affect many other kids. There’s a massive amount of -none in the gene pool on both sides of my family, and its a regular thing for all the parents and family sisters and “the brothers” to gather on the weekends to visit and take care of the grandparents, meaning that is alot of heat and a massive pheremone bath =).

I can take a guess at what your thinking.. what I have to say though is it depends on your genetic background and how much exposure to pheremones in your environment you’ve had would affect how you today or kids would react to -mones.

True, neither did I.

Worth mentioning though from experience, above-moderate to High -none lends to darker and more intense attitude .. So, while the child will himself adapt and be ok, it is my darker, intense behaviours that are the ones to watch for.

For a part of the female population this attitude is what make them tick .. but I have to watch it/me quite carefully around any children.

Great point.

I know that I have no tolerance for children while wearing high quantites of androstenone _neat_. In fact, I have no tolerance for many things or people. Very short.

This can be tempered when -none is used in combo with other pheromones, though. Most of the common ones soften it.

hornier than thou

question:
how do men continue to wear 'none in alot of their mixes and not be turned on MORE than they already are??? doesnt 'none affect them as well, as it is a player in several women’s mixes too…
all the mixes i wear affect me, thats okay i dig it.
but to be hornier than you are naturally?
wouldnt you rather stick a needle in your eye?
i suppose if you have the means to be constantly fulfilled, its frosting on the cake of life.

Hahaha.. the purpose of life is to constantly reach newer levels of horniness and have sex!!!

I love -none in my mixes.. in fact it is one of the main things I use.. Of course I only use it for specific situations.. love the horny exciting rush.. if this is what the dark side feels like, then it cannot be all that bad. I’m definetely hooked and will be getting [Raw Power](https://a314.com/product/raw-power/) next paycheck.
