# how do cold temps affect phero's

keeping [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) in a vehicle is not suggested, as Heat above 85\*F and cold below freezing will cause them to break down thus turning them slowly into useless scented alcohol.

Granted freezing or getting hot once will not destroy them, but repeated freezing and thawing will cause them to break down more quickly.
