How do you apply A314 without getting it on your lips?

I just got my first bottle of A314, but I bought the spray. Does anyone have a good suggestion as to how/where to apply it properly? I imagine you can be much more precise with the oil, whereas the spray might be harder to pinpoint an exact location.

How or where (and how much) would you suggest I apply of the A314, especially because I’ve never used it before.
