Yeah i just wanna know how far [pheromones](https://a314.com/) can permeate through the air, SteveO!!! lol. with lets say no breeze, 76 degrees and indoors. is it like an aura thats always around you? how much does the person inhale when they are around you?

I myself am wondering the same thing. One thing that concerns me however is if the smell does carry far, I am afraid my better looking and better gamed friends will benefit making the pheros hardly advantageous for me, and in fact hurting me in regards to competition.

depending on what you are wearing, my reports here are based on Ammo, and [Instant Openness](https://a314.com/product/instant-openness/), also depends on the number of people in the room, and the size of the room.
in an average bar say 40x60 feet with 100 people 5-6 feet, the more people that are there, and the bigger the room the smaller your effective range circle.

if the air is moving, slight breeze or fans running, I would say everyone will get a slight hit, but only 3-4 feet of available direct hit zone.

I was sitting in a 20x40 conference room by the cold air inlet, upwind of most people, with about 50 people in the room, and got a hit about 20’ away eye contact and a seeming smile.😃

I have had hits in a large store as far away as about 15 to 20 feet, length of the aisle, I had just walked down. 🆒 she smiled and said hi first, and no I did not know her before this meeting, at least I don’t think I did.

no matter where, if you want to be sure, make sure you get within arms reach or less. Cross an arm under her nose, or get a shoulder close to her.

The thing about this is how did these women “know” this pleasant feeling/smell was attributed to you?

For example in the conference room, she could have associated it with any other male sitting in between you and her. If she did in fact catch a whiff of the pheros from across the room then she would likely have chosen to associate it with who she would choose strictly based on physical attributes or past experiences (which in this case was you.)

so how much pheromones are in the air at any given time given the conditions i gave earlier?

likely because I was the only guy around, 😃 (well at least I can say this was true in the store, as there were not very many people around at all)

As for the conference room, I am guessing she marked me in the hall during break, and was staring at me, because I did not notice her for about 10 minutes, and she was staring at me for most of the afternoon.😮

the same thing is true for the Japanese beetles that are attracted to the [pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) traps, Farmers put out a trap and within 24 hours the trap is full and there are more bugs around than there were yesterday.

Remember Human noses smellers are not as strong as other animals.

If you look at pheromones in a primal evolutionary way (which we should)

then we should not compare them to the pheromones of most animals.

Insects operate in a much different way than humans. Due to the large area insects cover along with their frequent movement around it is necessary for their pheromones to be able to linger and travel far distances in order to attract a mate.

Where as humans have evolved into intimate and intellectual beings who usually will only pair up and spread genes after close contact. Making far reaching pheros unnecessary.

Of course I am absolutely not an expert, and so everything I just said may be absolutely incorrect. I hope its not way off though.

yeah im sure that they cant just smell the pheromones from across the room and just think “hey its that guy to the left and front of me” you know.

i bet the most effective way is to have at least some sort of interaction with the target so they know that its your own signature and not someone else that they have preconcieved notions about wut they are feeling and or sensing.

This is true.

It is also true that human primal instincts and evolution is much different than that of most animals.

Insects are not intimate and Intellectual beings. Their objective is to spread their genes as much and as efficiently as possible with genetically varied mates. Perhaps insect pheromones reach such a vast area because insects move around and live in such vast areas.

A human on the other hand will not bone a random person (well not for babies anyways) until after they have sized each other up using complex forms of communication that only humans have. This always involves close quarter and intimate interactions. Therefor human pheros have no need to radiate a mile away. This may also explain why there is no need for our noses to be so sensitive.

I guess you can call the bar or club the factor which brings all the potential mates together (or any social venue for that matter.) There is not always such a factor in the animal kingdom.

disclaimer: I am not an expert some or all of what I said may be bulls\*\*\*🙄

How well will the phero work towards you advantage if you standing outside on a college campus .. and its chilli outside or sight wind .. (your wearing a314)?

I am bet your A314 does close to nothing in those conditions.

Unless you are standing right next to a girl and the she is downwind. Then she would be getting ultra fast and good whiffs of the A314.

ic.l..can somone explain first impression with pheromones.. im still skeptical..

If you wear something like a314 for once and people get that high status vibe of you and then you dont wear it the next day… are you still alpha in their minds or do you have to wear it always in front of the person?

im sure ive heard that “First impressions last” a lot in my life. so im sure that if you are congruent with your behavior and actions/language then yeah they should be under the influence, lol. but if you dont then no they wont react in the way that you want it to play out for you.

Don’t discount the human sense of smell.

First, a very, very small particulate ratio (perhaps concentrations of 10^-8) may be able to be noticed. In a 20 x 40 room with normal ventilation it does not take long for a few molecules to travel from one side of the room to the other. Even one or two [pheromone molecules](https://pheromonelabs.com/) landing on the appropriate sense receptor might be enough to trigger awareness.

Second, humans have the ability to sense **gradients** of light, sound, and smell; our brains, you might say, are designed to notice differences in perceptions. (e.g. Think back to the last time you asked “Who farted?”)

So we are very. very good at being able to locate the source of any kind of gradient – and unless you are perfectly still wearing pheros, you will be generating gradient information non-stop. If you walk about slowly in a room, you will be maximizing the gradient info.

The counter-example is if you sit still for a while right next to another guy sitting still … perhaps the two of you quietly talking at the bar. If there is not good ventilation, there might develop a cloud around you both, and that could make it hard to determine which one of you is the source.

But from across the room, anyone should be able to know the direction of the source … even just walking around a little bit … they will sense when the stimulation gets stronger or weaker … the gradient. And the brain integrated the gradient perceptions and forms a holographic “solution” that pinpoints the source.

All with no conscious effort, usually.

When the distance seems outrageous … or when the person apparently reacts from the other side of the glass wall, or from inside a passing car with the windows up … it’s often **self-effect** that is visible to an observer that produces their reaction. If you walk a little taller, or feel a little bit sexier, women especially are good at noticing micro-gestures and posture changes. From a distance.

I think that was as credible as you’ll get without paying for a Phycology 1301 or a real shrink, lol..Good answer M..

Your exact answer is what I’ve been noticing since I started on this journey..

I, myself, have always been in a catch 22…Its hot down here in TX, so I know heat diffuses(spreads) the pheros faster, but again..its TEXAS..we sweat while walking to the mailbox and back, let alone our cars…so they also wear off quickly too..

</div>

I think more humid air carries pheromones further.

but then hot, humid weather, makes you sweat more thus pheromones are carried off at a higher rate so the diffusion zone would be a larger area.

But actually I think the humidity in the air also helps noses work better, because in hot dry areas your sweat actually works to cool you, but the insides of the nose crust over more to protect from moisture loss.

</div>

He-moths can follow the pheromone trace of she-moths ready to mate from ~miles~ away.

I don’t know how many molecules it takes to make someone “click” and don’t pretend to know. But I do know that human perception … based on my experience as well as all that I’ve read … is hyper attuned to “differences.”

We visually notice the edges between shadows and light spaces, the baseball against the blue sky, our eyes follow the line where the white stripe is next to the red stripe and fixes on where the white star is next to the blue field on the flag.

We hear rhythms in music … but we especially notice the ‘beats’ when a rhythm is interrupted .. or when there is a sharp increase or decrease in volume, or change in pitch, … and we immediately notice the moment when someone goes from singing on-key to off-key. We tune out the sound of the cieling fan, the dripping faucet, the sound of our own breathing or the beating of our hearts … unless we make a special effort to notice and hear.

Psychologists and physiologists both have a long history of emphasizing the human ability to notice and perceive gradients .. the strong and more abrupt the gradient, the more likely to notice.

~Conscious notice~. But the truth is that pheros may be / seem to be operating on an entirely UNconscious level as well. So let me turn it around and ask why we ~shouldn’t~ be able to locate the source of an aroma or of an olfactory stimulus like a pheromone?

Sorry if I came off as too positive of my conclusions before … but it’s my best interpretation of the physics of phero-action. No proof, mind, just theory.
