Hi there,

I’m 21 years old, and have recently moved into my older brother’s room as he has moved out meaning I have his bedroom now. He used to use a load of different phermones, and I have found a bottle of turn up the heat in his dressing table draw that he said was probably in there for over 3 years. It is unopened, and I was wondering if it would still be good to use? Would the phermones stil be active?

If its been in a dark drawer all this time then yes, they should be fine. Its storage in light that does for pheros more than anything else. Although some of the scent components might be more volatile/fragile - so give them a try and use a cover scent! 🙂

Tnak you very much for your reply 🙂
Yes it’s been in a dark drawer all this time, it’s only been out of the drawer the past 3 or 4 days since I have found it. I’m relieved to know that it’s fine to use.

What do you mean a cover scent? Just like using the phermone, then using an aftershave on top of it?

Yup - that’s it. Spray the phero, give it a couple of minutes to dry down, then layer your cover scent over it. All spray pheros can be layered this way - its only oils that need to be kept apart. In that case, you spray your cover nearby. 🙂

I had this problem too, I left a bottle of [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) in a drawer for like a year. Gave it a good shake per advice from the users here, and voila! I was the main attraction at my support group last friday.

Learned something today: separate oil and [spray pheromones](https://a314.com/product-category/spray-pheromones/)! Thanks!
