At the end of the year (probably between September and December), I am planning on moving out of the suburban area and into an apartment downtown.

I was planning on [buying pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/) now, storing them in my closet and leaving them until I move. So, this way, if I buy pheromones every few weeks, by the time I move out, I would have a pretty good supply.

If I buy pheromones now and go with this plan, will they last that long?

I read somewhere on this forum, that If Stored properly (at cool dry place, well packed, leak proof) then shelf life is not less than 2 years.

Few friends reported, their stuff potent and active even longer than this. Only thing is to be stored properly.

With room temperature/dark storage, they last for years. Oils may not last as well as sprays but I’ve never had a problem with AD products going-off at all (other firms yes ☹ ). Some MX sprays can darken slightly with time but still remain perfectly usable. Dark storage is IMO more important than outright coolness as light will degrade pheros faster than tempratires - although scents will likely suffer first in hot conditions.

If you do have a product go-off on you, its pretty obvious - They smell sour/rank and often develop white gunk that swirls around when you shake them.

Bumping for question..

One of the sprays on my bottle is spraying very weak, so I was thinking of using a sprayer from an old bottle, only it is a different pheromone. So I was thinking of leaving the sprayer off exposed to air and light for a few days so the [pheromones](https://a314.com/) and alcohol can evaporate and break down.

How long should I wait for the pheromones to be gone?

By the way, it is a -none based product the sprayer is coming from. (TUTH)
