# How long do pheromones last on you, and does a shower clear the morning's mix?

sorry in advance if this topic has been addressed 300 times in the past but i would just like to get some opioion on how long [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/) whether they be stand alone or mixes last or are distinguishable on your person.. For example if I was to apply 1 mix in the morning which i was using in a work environment and then came home showered and applied another mix because i was hitting a club or something would there be any residual mix from that morning? If there was then interaction you attributed to the mix you were wearing that night may not be actually derived from that particular mix.. Again if u were experimenting with different pheromones from day to day then results may be very misleading because have a residual pheromone build up.

They key there is the shower. When you shower, you remove excess pheromones from your skin, giving you a clean slate to start from. It is actually recommended that you shower before applying the pheromones. So if you shower before applying your evening mix, the chances of there being residue is very slim, except for the -none mixes such as TUTH and Ammo. These are very sticky mones, and will build up if used repeatedly on clothing or hair. About the only way to get them out of your hair is to shave your head, so be careful with those. If you are using more social mixes (IS, IH, IO, etc…) you should be fine after a good shower.

Very true. Keep the androstenone products out of your hair and scrub the areas you put those onto (Don’t have to remove the top layer of skin however). Then you shouldn’t have a problem with -none buildup.
