Hi guys,
I heard that we produce our own [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) but we lose it due to frequent showers and other factors.
So I was wondering, after taking a shower, how long does it take for the body to replenish itself of its own natural pheromones?

Also, besides frequent bathing, what are other factors that diminish the modern man’s natural pheromones?

- Diet (bad=less),
- Exercise (more=more)
- Stress (more=less, or at least the wrong ones)
- Age (older=less testosterone)

My bad, it seems that TECHNICALLY the 50% number was referring to sperm counts. However that IS related in many ways directly to test levels which HAVE been shown to be declining substantially by numbers almost as disturbing.

Essentially a good amount of our food additives contain phytoestrogens, botanical extracts that exhibit estrogen like properties when introduced to the body. This coupled with a sedentary lifestyle, an obesity level that says some 2 out of three men have weight problems, daily exposure to carcinogens and other chemicals that might not be estrogenic but are harmful to the testes none the less. Hell even wearing your cell phone on your hip exposes your balls to low levels of electromagnetic radiation for hours a day for…well how long if your cell phone contract?
Most pheromones are produced by the metabolizing of testosterone and those metabolites being secreted by the body through sweat and urine. If out test levels are down by 20%, or possibly lower than a mere 2 generations ago it’s no wonder we need to supplement our pheromones.

Many male mones are produced by skin bacteria feeding on waste and other materials in our sweat. The most common moan on male skin is A1. Your fresh sweat after a workout is full of A1. Of course A1 is a metabolite of testosterone. When A1 is acted upon by skin bacteria it breaks down to androstenol which, in turn, breaks down to androstenone. When we bathe frequently the poor bacteria have little food to eat, hence poor mone production in squeaky clean men. If not for bacteria men would be great around PMSing women but not get much nookie later…

Androsterone is produced in the liver when testosterone is metabolized and exits the body via urine.

You know more about this than I do Gegogi, is the bacterial consumption of A1 the only means of producing nols and none? They aren’t produced by any other mechanism?

Anol is produced in human sweat glands in small amounts. So it is found in the body we just dont secrete it as much as others.

Anone is a steriod metabolised from testosterone. You find it in urine and sweat.

Many pheromones are derived from hormones at different points of metabolizing in the body. So one derives from another

A small amount of conversion can occur if bacteria continues the metabolization process outside the body but these pheromones/hormones exist in the body independently as well and are secreted in our body fluids.

Specifically, something that shows things like “testosterone breaks down in the body into this, and this is excreted onto the skin, where this bacteria changes it into this”, etc… I’m interested in this for two reasons. First, it might give clues as to why certain pheromones have certain effects. For example, a pheromone that is produced by a process that …

Hygiene is the main culprit. While pheromones are found in saliva and urine as well as sweat humans dont go around smelling other humans urine, butts or licking each other like other mammals do. That is what they are doing when you see a animal sniffing another animals butt or where they peed. They are picking up on information from the pheromones.

Anywhoo… while race age diet etc etc can effect the amount you make the only thing that effects the amount you have on your body is hygiene. Soap deodorant frequent showering tooth paste antiperspirant these effect whats naturally on the skin. How quickly you replenish them is probably different for everyone depending on the speed of metabolism. Men probably replenish faster then women though.

Hmm, I wonder how this would turn out, workout HARD for, let’s say, 10-15 minutes. Apply some cover up scent for that nasty smelling BO enhancing sweat and WALA! you got some instant A1 😛 Add a spray of TUTH and hit the club to this and…$@(&!!🙄

Fit Muscular men have higher levels of testosterone therefore higher pheromone output.

Race is a small factor as with certain pheromones.

Now big as in a high ratio of body fat to muscle. Depending on there health and age they make less.

Some factors that reduce a woman’s natural scent.

- Frequent washing
- Not enough body hair left to trap pheromones (a tendency to remove most body hair)
- A _general_ tendency to perceive any intimate smells as yukky and hence cover them up
- Stress
- Bad diet
- The Pill
- An in-built compulsion to hide ovulation and hence reduce any signals that would give the game away, like natural scents (this is a fairly recent scientific hypothesis rather than a fact, but it’s a strong one)

I love the way women smell. Sadly a lot of them don’t and have been conditioned to think that smelling like themselves is “bad”.

Cool. Do you know a link to the last one about the recent scientific hypothesis regarding women’s compulsion to hide ovulation?
