# How long will ammo last if applied to clothing?

Hi,

I was wondering if I could spray ammo to my clothing maybe 2 sprays in the morning before I go out in the evening so its no quite so over powering. Will it still be effective?

You’re really better off applying [pheromones](https://a314.com/) to your skin as your body heat will help with the diffusion. Plus Ammo is a product that contains androstenone, which is a very sticky phero and can difficult to wash out of clothing, hair, etc. Definitely best if used on the skin where you’ll be able to get rid of it with a shower.

Anyway, I believe the standard amount of time that the alcohol-based sprays last is roughly 6 hours.

Not really - For a start, many materials do not promote diffusion at all well and some will actually bind with the phero, which stops diffusion and becomes much more difficult to clean.

You would also need a far higher dose - 2-3 times or maybe more. Which will get expensive fast!

And if you apply in the morning for evening use, there is a good chance the clothing will be absolutely minging by the end of the night.
