From a full application to approaching someone, how much time do you give the fragrance a chance to mellow out?

I personally might be over sensitive to chemical smells because I find two sprays of any instant to be over powering and still extremely harsh after a more than an hour. I just can’t see how some of you guys spray 8 sprays of 4 different instants and walk around without a fragrance overdose. Then on top that I read some will apply 4 sprays of what ever then apply two sprays of cologne! Is not adding to many scents an inadvisable thing to do?

as far as a dry down period, I’d probably go with whatever you’re used to. Generally about five to ten minutes for me. And I do agree that imo, going 8 sprays of anything is way too much, though maybe in some areas, going that heavy with cologne isn’t a bad idea whereas in some, any cologne is too much.

As for layering scents, that’s a matter of personal preference really. Some of the products here I’ll wear as is, others I’ll add my own. Case in point: Some of the neroli products I find don’t diffuse as nicely as I would like or at least have the staying power I want. So in that case, I’ll add some CK One which I’ve found to last a very long time and goes well with both [Neroli](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/androtics-neroli/) and Akuto. As for stuff like Ammo or UF, I would wear that as is. The scent is clean but I can’t see it being mixed with anything else as it can be rather in your face and tends to leave a more distinct trail.

I Tend to Spray Before I Leave the House and the Drive to Where Ever I’m Going Tends to be Enough… Normally, That is 6-12 Minutes of Drive Time… The Mones Tend to Last 2-6 Hours Depending so You have Plenty of Time to Allow the Scent to Mellow Abit…

About 15-20 mins for 6% scents and half an hour to an hour for cologne strength (20%?).

TBH, maybe because of this, I get some incredible hits and double-takes on the bus into town when I go out! 😃

Thanks for the infoz.

I foresee trying again now that’s it’s three years latter since I originally tried AD products and my sensitivity to chemicals appears to have decreased. =)

Yea seriously you should never have problems with the Instant line because it’s only 6% strength. I find that I can probably handle up to ~8 sprays in total. Sometimes I go crazy, like 5-6 sprays of just ISHINE and people just always tell me, YOU SMELL LIKE HEAVEN 😃

I am assuming you use no cover when you use 5-6 or ~8 sprays?

Is the fragrance of instants on level with high end designer colognes? If so, besides the [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/), is it because they are of decent quality and more than likely unique to extreme vast majority of people out there?

The quality of AD’s fragrances is excellent - I get problems with some scents, esp cheap shite and generally the least problematic are the high-end ones. So far, Only the F21 scent is at my limit of tolerance and I can avoid that by choosing another version.

The main scents are unique, however [Neroli](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/androtics-neroli/) is a fairly common one and that can be found in quite a few quality colognes.

Like everyone else said, I usually only wait about 10-15 minutes and I am good.

I can probably get around 6 sprays without a problem. The neroli scent is generally well recieved, and I have gotten compliments on it multiple times. In fact someone thought it was high quality expensive cologne once. So scent is not something I normally worry about with the instant line

Often I go out immediately after applying the mones. It takes a while before I meet another person anyway, since I have to pull on the boots, go pat the cats one more time, get out, lock the door, unlock and go back in to get the items I forgot, go out again, lock the door, stand around for a minute or two wondering about where the hell I’m heading, then suddenly remembering it and going to the car.

Yeah, fifteen minutes sounds just about right.
