# How much of the effect is placebo, and how is it factored into product testing?

I have no doubt that there are real effects from this stuff even though I havent made my order yet. But I was wondering just how much is explained by placebo and how this is factored in with testing for these products?

When making these things, did they try and find a way to make “openness” or “come talk to me”, or did they just try things and that seemed to be the result so they named that mix after it?

The Birth of a Consumer product 🙂

First they test the molecules out separately, These are called experimones or putatives. They are single molecule pheromones or suspected pheromones in the putatives case.

They gather test results from forum members and outside testers and compare those for similarities and patterns.

Then the lord of the pheromones Michael Harris takes his knowledge of how pheromones work together which is extensive and tries out some mixes. Yes we do know what the experimones do like the anol that is the primary mone of IO or the bnol which is the primary mone of IH so he knows what to mix to get a desired effect.

If he feels he likes the effects and the other outside testers do as well he will release it as a MX### for testing.

He will again compare the reports of the outside testers with those who have tested on the forum. sometimes he will tweak the formula or release it in a series to see which one is best.

Then it moves up to pre-release and is named like pre-released dirty or [Come Talk To Me](https://a314.com/product/come-talk-to-me-cttm/) Mix 2

Then when it is perfect and only when it is perfect because they have a 200% guarantee he will move it on up to the consumer section.

It is a double blind test in the sense that we have no ideal what the outside testers are saying and they have no knowledge of us. So they can sort out the placebo effect easily.

Once you have been using pheromones for a while you start to understand the separate molecules and can make your own mixes. If you share them in the forum and they are good Androtics will use the mix with your permission. I believe they give you a GC to.

Keep in mind the consumer products have been tested and proven already or they would not offer the guarantee. Its just a matter of learning to use them. I often wish they didn’t use the word instant with the products cause sometimes it takes a little practice to mimic mother nature just right.

Thanks for thanks Tisha! If when I get these products I take a big sniff of one, will I notice anything you think? Im not getting spaceland, but it sounds like a drug tbh and get the impression i probably would. How about shine or the others?

Really depends on the person. Some people will take a big wiff of wet Ishine from the bottle and shortly later feel great For some that short wiff of we mones gives them a headache or a head rush feeling. I get a head rush from Ishine myself if I breath it in threw my nose while spraying it on so I hold my breath when I apply till the mist settles a bit.
