All things being equal and I’m wearing a dose I know works for me, let me pose a question. If I’m wearing a respect based product (IG or A314 for example) and I’m agitated, will it make others around me agitated as well?

Not necessarily, but most likely it will make those around you less likely to believe it is actually your signature. This is a PRIME example of what everyone means when they talk about congruency.

You will most likely be avoided though and will have a more difficult time pulling it off the next time

You know, I tend to have better results with pheros when my mood is better. Ususally, this goes with my cycle. Before and around ovulation, I feel more cheerful, more smiley, more talkative and more outgoing. Last week of my cycle, I have a lower mood, I’m quiet, more introverted. I guess when guys feel drawn to me or attracted, they are more likely to show it when a girl looks cheerful than when she looks demure.

No it wont make them agitated or make the not believe its your signature. Mones work in the subconscious mind so that is not something they would think of. However, people would stay the hell away from you big time. No one wants to be near the pissed off Alpha.

If you behave opposite of the signals you are sending out it will cause confusion. Taks IO for instance. People will have the urge to talk to you but if your not friendly they will either pick it up visually through your body language or verbally when your not congruent with the mix and ignore you.

I agree, androsterone based products used with the incorrect persona won’t change the basic mood or mindset of those around you. They’ll merely think something is wrong with you and mostly likely avoid or ignore you. If I’m feeling really down or pissed off, I don’t wear mones are they make things worse. In other words they can enhance a negative vibe as well as a positive one.

Ok, so let me ask you this then. What do you think an OD on [Instant Gentleman](https://a314.com/product/gentleman/) would look like? See, I tried two shots this morning and it seems the people I was around were all agitated. I was slightly irritable due to my wife’s irritableness.

So, I thought to myself, why don’t I throw on a third shot to see what happens. Well, to make a long story short, I couldn’t buy a look or a smile to save my life. Can you OD on IG?

Hello-

You cannot really OD on [Instant Gentleman](https://a314.com/product/gentleman/) (at least not like on 'none) - and certainly not at 2-3 sprays.

I think that pheros can enhance a bad mood. Several of us have had that experience and Mark in Dallas had a great post about going out one evening wearing a great mix but everyone staying away because he was in a bad mood - and probably visibly so.

At the same time, if you are a leader, or the pheros tend to help make you a leader, then people will follow your lead and take both direct and indirect cues from you. Not only will they look to you for the “what are we going to do today” question but they will also follow your lead on the unspoken “how are we going to go about doing it” question. If you are upbeat and positive, most will follow suit. If you are pessimistic, guess what - they will be too. And if you are in a foul mood, they will stay away and probably half of them will have a dark cloud hovering over their workspace as a result. Combine that with the extra “ooomph” of the pheros and you are sending out quite a message one way or the other.

A true (and good) leader has to be careful becuase they often wield more influence than they realize. That does not mean you have to always be Mr. Upbeat and cheerful but it helps if can be most of the time. That is also why a lot of leaders allow or build a little distance between themselves and others. Not only can it be repsect distance from those around you, but you need a little distance so your occasional bad days do not affect everyone else. You can shut the door, cuss quietly at the computer monitor or whatever, then open the door ready for business.

Sorry - another bosshank soapbox moment …
