So…I live in Sweet Home Regina, Saskatchewan Canada. Dead center of the North American continent. Upper northern plains, No big lakes, no big rivers, No water. We only get 12 inches of rain/snow a year. (we do get 220 days of sunshine a year…so that’s good) But…it’s DRY here. The result is my products only seem to last half as long as the times listed on the site. I can’t smell my A314 after about 3.5 hours…and the sprays seem to be gone after about an hour and a half.

Is there some sort of trick to get more time out of a mix…or is that just the way it is?

I don’t mind re-applying after 3 hours…I’m just wondering if there is a better way.

Just in case you CAN’T smell the scent package of your [pheromone products](https://a314.com/shop/) _that doesn’t_ mean the pheromones aren’t there still doing their job, but if you mean effect wise (as in not seeing pheromone effects anymore) then that’s a different story. Heat diffuses scent/pheromones thus the reason why we spray them on pulse points, so when you say dry do you mean it’s REALLY hot where you live? If so, what I try doing is applying baby oil on my neck to see if that will make the diffusion slow down a bit because of the oil. I’m not completely sure that this may work though, but I’ve tried it and the smell of the scent package does seem to stay for awhile longer so I’m guessing so are the pheromones. It’s worth a shot, even though I don’t have any scientific data saying this works. Just my silly idea, worth a try though. A good moisturizer may work too.

I will try the baby oil. Around here it get really hot 45 C to really cold in the winter -45C below. One of the effects of no water. Like the surface of the moon.

Just tried a shot of 2x instant shine to the chest —with a coating of un sented baby oil. This may actually work! after 10 minutes the scent is less intense…but if it lasts longer…then that is so cool.

If this works…it could change the way the sprays are used!

I’m glad you enjoyed it man, you can also use Neutrogena Body Oil, if you don’t like baby oil. You did say yours was unscented though, so that should be good too.

Let me know how it goes! The _ **idea** _ here is that your skin being kept moisturized for a longer time might/hopefully should slow down diffusion time of your [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/) since your skin isn’t dry enough to speed up diffusion with the addition of the temperature in your city.

I’m giving up on this one. With the oil…the product didn’t seem to last any longer.

No problem man, I never said that it would in fact make it last longer as it was just an idea. So I’m sorry you still haven’t found an answer, but just to make sure again by “doesn’t last as long” what exactly do you mean? Scent of the product or the [pheromone](https://a314.com/) effects? Because if you’re talking about pheromone effects most products on here only last 4 to 6 hours with little/smaller effects _possibly_ going on until the next day. So if this is what you’re talking about just reapply, for example if you’re using a -none product just wipe off the old application spot with Witch Hazel or hydrogen peroxide then just reapply.

Just put in my 3rd order… Instant jerk…and spaceland. Yeah. I started off with a lofty idea of self improvement… now I just want to have fun fun fun. Anyone remember the story of Dr. Jeckel and Mr Hyde? Can’t remember if it was Bram Stoker or Mary Shelly…But… Dr. Jeckel took this drug to split he’s Good personally from his…er evil, dark, animal side. And he had a lot of fun…but the horror began when he lost control… and began to transform into Mr. Hyde without the drug. Well…Maybe [Instant Jerk](https://a314.com/product/instant-jerk/) is alot like that drug. Well this isn’t Victorian England. Thank Dobbs.
