Do you ladies take the time out to teach a guy if he’s a bad kisser or lover or do you just decide that’s not for you and move on.

How patient are you?

I am patient and tell my husband what I like and what I dont like. He does the same for me. Preferences actually change over the years. Things you were not interested in can become interesting later in the relationship.

Before I got married I went out with a few bad…umm… kissers LOL I’m a natural born teacher though so they walked away much better at it. Its just like any other thing we learn. Someone shows us and then practice makes perfect 😉 I am sure there are plenty of women who need some lessons as well as men.

Yeah, I’d say I’m patient and generous to a point, but I ain’t Mother Teresa, lol.

Unfortunately being physically attracted to someone doesn’t guarantee that you’re going to be sexually compatible. If he’s got it goin’ on as far as personality/looks, etc., enough to peak my interest in the first place, I’d definitely guide him and give him a chance/time to catch onto how I like things.

I think most guys are up for learning how ya like it but they aren’t mind readers, even if they’re experienced. It’s not one size fits all (forgive my pun 😃). Every woman is different and that’s the way she needs to be approached. He needs to zero in on what _you_ particularly like, not what the woman before you liked. If he’s really interested he’ll listen and try his best to please you.

Inexperience isn’t a crime. You have to get it somewhere! I’d give him a chance if I really liked him. It pays to be patient especially if you see potential, lol. But unless he makes a real effort, there’s progress, and he’s heading down the right track… I’m only gonna hang in so long. After a decent period of time, no matter how much I like him/his personality, if he can’t rock my world (satisfy me)…I’m sorry but… adiós, muchacho. ☹

That doesn’t mean he’s a terrible lover in general. It means that he and I are just not on the same page about what pleases _me_. He might bat it outta the park with another woman but she ain’t me.

A kiss is not just a kiss. It’s so very intimate to me I won’t swap spit with just anybody. I have to really like a guy before I’ll let him get that close to me. When I get to the point that I’ll let/want him to kiss me, it’s usually a good indication as to how well he might do other things, lol. I’ve been wrong, yes, but rarely.

Speaking of bad kissers, I’ve had a few who improved. Though I can’t help thinking of one guy who was very cool/sexy but when we finally got to it, he kissed like a Saint Bernard. I don’t mean sensuous wet kisses. I mean sloppy open mouth, dribbly, drooling, get me a towel kisses. Ew, lol. I felt like I’d been slimed. (No, it wasn’t Gene Simmons. 😛)

I tried gently asking him to ease up and he responded that that’s the way you’re suppose to kiss and I should just relax and soon I’d learn to love it. Um, no, no I didn’t. Call me crazy, I’d rather bathe with soap and water. Needless to say, as much as I liked him, we never got any further. The persistent St. Bernard treatment eventually turned me off completely. Two months later he got married, lol. So, ya see what I mean? I think she was a veterinarian! 😃

Hey (((((Bella)))))))

ROFL I had one of those open mouthers to. When he came at me I thought he planned to swallow me whole.

I remember in high school there was this guy who had braces and we were laying down just making out with him sort of hovering over me. This big line of spit…drool… whatever came out of his mouth and started dropping right towards my face Sort of like a bungie cord. I just scooted away in time. That was the only time I recall having no patience LOL

As Bella said, inexperience is not a crime. Having said that, if a guy isn’t up to improving or changing his technique to suit his partner and acts like a macho big shot who won’t take constructive criticism, then feel free to walk away if you must.

But if the woman shows absolutely no patience and dropkicks him out the window with her very pointy shoe immediately after locking lips, who’s the winner here? Probably the guy, in my view. Says a lot about a woman and what she might be like in other areas of her life and relationships. The guy is lucky to walk away with a sore backside. It could be a lot worse.

I’ve been lucky enough to enjoy some good teachers. Who said learning is boring?

I have had one in particular who seemed to be a good guy, I was willing , he didn’t wanna learn. I kinda just hung around to see where it lead.

It turned out he was a jerk and I was bumped I was patient and understanding with his no good - kissing ughhhhh buttt

Oh really now, well until we hear it from the ladies themselves it’s just another guy saying how amazing they are.

I don’t think I have ever heard a guy say they aren’t that good in bed.

I was a bit confused when I use to hear that and it may sound silly or naive but I couldn’t picture a woman being bad in bed especially since I figured a guy was so easy to cum and would get some pleasure no matter what you did.

Not saying just what I thought at one point.

Then some guys explain that some women will literally lie there and not make a sound. That was funny.

One guy was like this one girl looked at him in the middle of his eyes like she was shocked and he couldn’t keep his ughhhh tool up after a while. LOL

Are you serious? That story it too funny. Well one woman’s Saint Bernard is another woman’s great kisser.

When you say not satisfy you what does that mean. I have only been able to hit the big O with one guy my most recent and although from what most women say if they don’t hit the big O then you ain’t satisfy and need to hit the road but other guys were very satisfying even if I didn’t reach my peak.

I had a guy do that , I can never forget how he said most girls enjoyed his kisses and all I had to do was sit back and enjoy it. To this day that is all I can remember when I see him.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve maintained relationships with guys who couldn’t make me cum, despite their best efforts. I stayed with them because they were great guys and other than that I enjoyed being with them. I kept hoping it would get better but in some instances it never happened even with time/patience/gymnastics. The emotional connection/closeness was nice and satisfying, _to a point_, but my frustration about not being able to orgasm finally got the best of me. And that’s the thing, after a good deal of time, I knew it was his best effort and it still wasn’t workin’ for me. Believe me, sometimes it wasn’t so easy to walk away but I did because I didn’t see anything changing in the future. Eventually I had to end it because I didn’t want to go thorough life getting myself off.

Now, because we’re being frank here, let’s talk about the girl who’s in this circumstance. Is it just the guy who’s having trouble getting her to orgasm? Not always. Sometimes it has to do with the girl’s inability to reach orgasm even on her own. What in God’s name do I mean by that? I mean she doesn’t know her own body well enough to make _herself_ orgasm. A woman can’t expect a guy to get her there if she doesn’t even know how to get herself there. Self exploration is a good thing, lol. If she can do it for herself, it helps her help him to know what to do to get her there.

I’m not saying that’s you Mick, lol. It’s just a reason why some girls have trouble orgasming. It’s important to know how to push your own buttons before you expect someone else to know how to push them. 😉

No matter what though, being patient and kind is always the ticket when it comes to handling affairs of the heart/genitals. Even the worst lover I ever had has no idea he’s the worst lover I ever had, lol. They never knew I broke up with them because we just didn’t grok in bed. It would really hurt a nice guy who tried his best and I would never hurt his feelings that way. Like I said, he’ll be great with some other gal…who’s not me.

Thanks for that. The circumstances can be quite demoralizing when there isn’t true understanding from both parties. The idea of performance anxiety can be damn mortifying and there are many a time when men are concerned with a women’s pleasure because we know the full reality of the notion that we’re easy to get off in contrast to women.

This is a very good point. Some women have a hard time having a orgasm no matter how skilled there partner is. Self exploration and learning what exactly sends you over the edge is very important. How can we expect a man to know our bodies if we dont know our body and we live in them every day.

Believe me women can be just as bad as men in bed. I have actually coached a few women over the years who where frigid. Most times its a mental block that needs to be cleared.

One girl I knew not only laid there like a lump on a log her boyfriend told me she would tense up so badly that he couldnt pry is way in with a pinkie let alone get anything else up there. Her doctor even had a hard time doing pap smears.

That’s my motto. Never stop learning 😃

I think exploring and evolving is a fun and important part of any sexual relationship. I know women who have been with there partner for years and have never tried anything other then the missionary position and only in there bedrooms or a hotel room if they happen to be on vacation that week. I tell them Jeez no wonder your sexuality frustrated. My favorite assignment to give them. Have sex at least once this week but you cant use missionary and there cant be a bed in the room LOL

If someone isn’t willing to give you a shot right outta the gate, well, then no loss as far as I’m concerned. If ya don’t want me, then I don’t want you, lol. What’s the point? Forced ain’t good unless you’re into that kinda thing. Ciao, ta-ta, arrivederci baby.

Learning is where it’s at. There’s nothing like an eager able student. Being curious/open/and _wanting_ to learn helps tremendously, lol. Though it’s not my preference to learn ‘em, it’s always appreciated when a guy puts his mind/heart/soul into it. That’s the most difficult part…when you know a guy is crazy for you and tried his best _but_, it ain’t happenin’. It becomes frustrating for him as well and that’s what’s foremost in his mind…satisfying me. If we can’t overcome it, well, we’re both better off moving along. 😉

I’ve been around this side of the pool more than once. Maybe I’m lacking something but I decided long ago, that if I’m going to make a _serious_ commitment to a man, it’s one thing I won’t “settle” for. It’s not fair to me nor to him. I want sexual compatibility in a long term relationship and I think he does too. I didn’t/don’t want to live my life w/o it…and I don’t, lol. 😃

When Wolf and I got to it, it was so right our feet didn’t hit the floor for three days, lol. Seriously. We had to get up because we were hungry. 😛

OMG! I met that guy. As we were kissing - and it was good - then he leans back, looks at me passionately, leans forward (so far so good) and licks me across the mouth/ bottom 1/2 of my face. WTF??

I was so stunned I couldn’t say anything, I just backed away.

For me I’ll take a little time and teach them how I like it - accommodate how they like it. But if we can’t ever get the kissing together chances are we’ll never get the sex together.

I’ve always thought, and led to believe that sexual compatibility comes secondary to emotional compatibility. That the “connection” you have when it comes to sex and just fitting well with each other is something I personally want when it comes to a LTR. Looking back at past relationships, the best sex turned out to be the better relationships, with emotional connection being equal.

It’s good to know women actually won’t look at you as a sex fiend just because of that fact.
