so theres this girl ive been crushing on for a while but have just recently started talking to regularly. i have the whole instant line on order (minus jerk, so thats openness, tuth, shine, female magic, ammo and honesty), which will hopefully be here soon. the position ive worked myself into is where she knows me enough that asking her out now isnt weird or creepy, but im almost certain the context she sees me in is one of potential friendship (although shes said she loves different clothes i have a few times, so i may be fine without 'mones). so given the situation, what should be a good mix?? it may also be relavent to know that she sits near me every mon/wed/fri (like 2 ft away) for an hour in class plus we usually chill for 30 minutes after so im sure she’d be getting some good hits. love, - pharcyde ---

I think the reason you’re not getting a burst of responses to this scenario is that there is too much left undefined … what do you want to accomplish, now, long term (is there a long term?), what have you already tried, how, etc. etc. But, also, there are no iron-clad rules. You’ve got to become THE expert on how you respond to pheros, what works best for you. My rules work for me, but probably won’t work for you. If I say “Try this” it’s as much guesswork as anything. What if you forget the idea that you have to “get it right” for a while (if you can); perhaps there is no “right.” If you try something that doesn’t work you can try something else another time. The one-itis trap is not just that there is only one girl for you, but that there is only one shot to impress a girl, that THIS one upcoming event is the only one that matters, that one misstep will doom any further attempts. You can afford to play with your pheros; you’re going to have lots of chances to get across with this particular girl unless she falls in love with someone else or moves away … and if she does, there will be other girls to love … ---

Hey pharcyde, the spot you’re in is the toughest position of all. Once you get past it everything is smooth and I find myself in the same situation a lot, in fact I’ve got the same problem right now as you do. I’d suggest throwing some ammo or mx113 and add some shine, basically anything that smells nice, and just dive in and just ask. Sometimes you just have to have the balls to not care and do something instead of sitting there. Don’t worry I’m taking my own advice too. ---

Pharcyde, I’d suggest ammo alone, 1 spray since you sit that close to her, and refresh with another spray after 3 hrs or so (but let it dry off for 15 mins before you sit near her again). Once you see some ‘friendlier’ results with that from her (you will), ask her for a date then. On the date, with the same ammo application, if it is going well, you can then use 1 spray TUTH later in the date/evening (the 2.5 mcg TUTH, if you have the 5mcg, use half spray). You won’t be friends anymore ! Nothing too complicated a mix. Simple things in life work well. And good luck. ---
