What is the best way to store your [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/)? Is having them in the fridge a good idea to extend lifespan? Cheers. ---

I’d like to know the optimal temperature too. I think most will just say room temperature but different countries have different temperatures. Avoid direct sun is a must, and perhaps less humid area. Which make refrigerator seems like a good place if 5-10deg celsius isn’t too cold. ---

wont be too cold in my opinion I´d store them away from where you´re sleeping cause you cant avoid emitting mone from the bottles… a dry and cool place without other scents or smells ( dont store them next to detergent ) do you have such plastic containers that can be closed very efficiently ( you know such ones like the ones the company sells which is known for plastic dishes ) put them into such a box and your mones will be very safe.. to sum it up .. store your mones at a dark and dry place with reasonable temperature .. No need to refrigerate. A cool, dark place is fine. It doesnt have to be cold. The mones wont be damaged until over 140 degrees F . However if its really hot and you dont have the cap on the bottle it can evaporate. Sunlight also can damage them so if you have to-go bottles be sure to keep those in a dark spot. The 30ML comes in a blue light block bottle so those should be fine. I still keep mine in the dark though. Tisha ---

Thanks for the info, tisha! I’ve been wondering for a few days now if there was any specific temperature at which the mones start to break down and I was under the impression that nobody really knew. ---

My guess is over time and body heat. Read somewhere that the mones could break down into the other forms like rone and anone. If you meant breaking down to completely useless then I am not too sure, however I’ve seen people talking about their 4-5year old mones and still say they are effective. Perhaps a scent change too. I’ve actually got Pherlure from 3 years back, the smell changed to a little more heavy or musky/husky, whatever it should be described, but it still smell good actually whenever I open the drawer of my cupboard lol. I seldom wear it as I have doubts on its efficiency, this is even so when it seems to give me more attention (probably attraction too). I think the online critics has got over me. Maybe some experts can comment too. ---

I’ve seen people post about accidentally (or intentionally) leaving their mones in cars and having them be completely fine. I was just curious as to when heat started to cause excessive mone denaturation while still in the bottle. ---

Body heat dosent break them down it diffuses them which is what you want them to do. Bacteria like coryneform is what breaks it down on the body into another molecule. This usually only occurs in high bacteria areas like the pits and groin. As long as you take care of the bottles and dont leave them laying in your car or in the sun they should be fine. I have lost the use of more then one bottle in my car. Even with the cap on it evaporated or dried up. All I know is it was full when I left it there and empty when I finally took it out. It didnt leak so your guess is as good as mine. Your pherlure should be as effective as it was when you bought it even after 5 years since you kept it in a cupboard no more no less. Tisha
