# How to be the center of the conversation without domineering??

So I was hoping you all might have some input on how to be the center of a conversation at a party without domineering or looking pushy. Any suggestions?

Be confidant. Secure. Really know what you’re talking about. Wear a couple spritzes of [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/). The rest should take care of itself..

I agree with wolfishgrin

Be confident and secure.

Also listen and give others a chance to talk. Pull them into the conversation with questions. People all have ego’s, subtly stroke those ego’s. I dont mean gush or compliment the hell out of them but small phrases like “what do you think” or “thats very interesting” “Your so funny” etc etc… These small statements make people feel good and stroke the ego without coming off as over complimenting.

If you make them feel good then you will be the center of there attention.
