# How to best use NPA

Is NPA best used directly by applying a couple of drops on the skin or should you always use it by pouring it in your favorite cologne?

You’re going to want to mix with your scent. 5:1 is average, but depending on age, build _etc._ you might want to go 4:1 or 6:1.

Very few of us can go with direct application, and those of us who can are mostly old farts or Asian (low ~none producers).
