I think [Instant Honesty](https://a314.com/product/instant-honesty/) and TAK might be useful in situations like that. TAK seems good for getting past peoples objections to listening to what you are saying, in moderate amounts. ---

Breakups suck. My divorce was one of the worse emotional wringers I’ve ever been through in my entire life. It affected my job, what little social life I had, my self-esteem-- you name it. But then… the court date came. We went in and 15 minutes later, we were divorced. Since then, we’ve been getting along great, and the sex is fantastic. The best part? No commitment! So… while it sucks in the days, weeks, and months leading up to it, making it official isn’t necessarily a bad thing. -D4 ---

I’d say the risk with TAK is that – depending on how bad spiderweb’s previous mistakes actually were – she might stand back and calmly rationally look at the situation and decide it is unreasonable to risk giving him a second chance. It might be better applied after he breaks through the emotional resistance. I could see it working either way. I’ve never tried TAK with P83 but they would seem to be pulling in different directions. Examine says with A314 + TAK + TAA (Instant Shine) + TAL + TAH he can command women. But I think he’s talking about a totally different situation. I do think sipderweb should give TAK a try when he is obsessing over her and feeling miserable. I think his winning her back is a real longshot, but at this point he is unlikely to give up on it. If we find the pheromones that make this work for him that will be a real breakthrough. It is an interesting problem. I’ve certainly been there. ---

That’s a possibility even without pheromones, though. If anything I think TAK encourages people to not rationalize situations, be more accepting of ambiguity, and to try and accomodate other people. [Instant Honesty](https://a314.com/product/instant-honesty/), OTOH, is good for trying to reach other people emotionally and have them take what you say seriously. It can also help people connect emotionally. Self-effects from TAK are really unreliable (the first time I tried it, I felt nothing in particular) and I really don’t think it could help save a person from obsessing over somebody. I think that you have to deal with in other ways. ---
