Hey everyone! So I haven’t gotten a chance to post my introduction yet, nor any pheromone experiences because I’m using a phone to access these forums and I’m refraining from posting.. But this is important lol. So, I have a 2.5mcg bottle of P75 that I want to reduce to .5 so I can build it up on me as I please (one 2.5mcg spray is a bit too much.. I don’t notice big hits until a few days after spraying it when the [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/) have died down a bit and the ghosting effect disappears.. After 2-3 days of my initial spraying it seems to kick in strong, as long as I don’t use soap when I shower). Anyways, I know nothing about chemistry and I’m terrible at math, so I’d greatly appreciate it if one of you could significantly dumb down this process and help me out. Also please tell me what products I need to buy, such as what size bottle, what kind of alcohol, etc. I can make a trip to Walgreens or something and look for bottles for my new diluted mix unless I should order them online. Diluting 1ml at 2.5mcg with 2ml alcohol will give you 0.625mcg, or 2.5ml will give you 0.4875mcg, so take your pick. All the stuff you need is under the supplies tab - togos, pippettes, and a bottle with dilutent - choose perfumers alcohol with strength and fragrance to match your original. ---

So I would have to put 1ml of the P75 in a vial with 2.5ml of alcohol to get .4875mg , right? Is .4875mg fairly close to .5mg or is that .0125mg a big difference as far as pheromones go? Also, I can buy the alcohol in the online store as well, right? Thanks 😃 ---

One last question… The perfumers alcohol with strength and fragrance is a bit pricey.. Can I do it with just the perfumers alcohol (no strength/fragrance)? I dont really care much about it smelling good, I just want the [pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) effects 😛 I’m ready to order when I get a response so I’ll stay posted. ---

This is an idea: get a to-go bottle, transfer 1.2ml to it, and mix 2.8ml perfumer’s alcohol with it - this way you’ll have an accurate 0.625mcg/spray dosage - the fragrance will be diluted as well to a lower strength when you dilute with regular perfumer’s alcohol. ---

Yes, there are other sources for PA but they tend to be massive cans of the stuff. ---

You can but reducing the carrier strength might well hamper diffusion. In this case you might be better diluting with a cologne instead - At least there will be a reasonable carrier. ---

I took your advice and got the PA with strength and fragrance. Thank you for your help 😃 I’m also brewing it in a standard bottle because I read that the To-Go bottles only spray 83% of the normal bottles, and I want it to be as close to .5 as possible. Once again, thank you! 🙂 ---

4 Parts Perfumers alcohol to 1 part [Pheromone product](https://a314.com/shop/) will divide the strength by 5. You can buy a bottle filled with perfumers alcohol here. > **[Experimental Human Pheromones - Pheromone Labs](https://pheromonelabs.com/)** If you take 6mL out of this bottle and replace it with 6ml of your 2.5 mcg/spray of P75, you will end up with a bottle of .5 mcg/spray of P75. ---

Really? Its that easy? How come mobocaster only came up with .4875 or .625 yet you came up with a perfect .5? ---

I was working with easy to measure togo volumes and Metal Tree is working with 30ml vols - And that is a lot to dilute - You could end-up with a load of wasted product. Better to use a 5ml to find your best dose then dilute 30mls after that. Could save you a fair bit of wasted product. ---

I will receive a package consisting of [P75](https://pheromonelabs.com/product/p75/) among other things, and I need to dilute it. Apparently 15 mcg/spray is somewhat too much. 😛 I am not completely sure what perfumers alcohol is (I asked the people at a local perfumes shop, and they had no idea). I have therefore no idea what it is and where to find it. Could I use ethanol instead? ---

PA is the solvent base of most colognes. Its approx 40% denatured alcohol and distlled water - sometimes other ingredients are added. I have read of standard ethanol being used but IIRC it is inadvisable. As well as here, you can get PA in litre+ quantities on Ebay and you can of course just use a decent quality cologne. 🙂
