# How to get rid of this sore throat?

Ok guys I have had this sore throat now for over a week..along with chest congestion

but no cough..just coughing up phlegm, and soemtimes my lungs just hurt when I breathe in and feels like i have a hard time getting in air.

other then that i feel ok..

I have tried various OTC medicines from claritin to cough stuff but nothing seems to be working.

My sore throat is not severe where I am in excruciating pain, and I do not have a fever so I know it is not the flu or any variant of it

I am not in the mood to go to the doctor to spend moeny for him to just tell me nothing we can do…

Any natural suggestions you know that might work?
