# How to properly store phero products?

Hi all,

What would be the “correct” way to store [pheromone products](https://a314.com/shop/), in order to maximize their shelf-life? I’ve read that storing them in room temperature away from the sunlight would be the way to go, but how about the summer seasons when its really hot inside; would be okay to store pheros in the fridge for example?

You can store them in the fridge if you like but you don’t have to. A cool dark place will do unless you live in a climate that’s always very hot. Then evap can occur. Be sure the caps are on good and the bottles are up right.

I made that mistake. So far, all my bottles are togo sized, and I was storing them on their side. They started leaking, and I lost a half centimeter from a couple bottles. Bummer. I’m gonna move them to the fridge, too, just to be on the safe side.
