Truly charmed to make your acquaintance. I’m a 38 year old guy residing in Arizona.

Not sure how I got here, but I stumbled across these forums a couple days ago and was immediately hooked. Being the compulsive guy I am, I’ve probably already spent about 12 hours browsing through here. Please let me commend the entire community for the intelligence, enthusiasm and friendliness apparent everywhere on these boards.

I’m awfully fascinated by everything I’ve read here. I’m curious if anyone knows whether -mones have been found to have predictable effects on brainwaves?

I’ll leave it here - I don’t want to get too carried away on my first post!

Looking forward to joining into more discussions once I’ve actually tried some products out.

Hello, cyberprime.

…brainwaves? They affect the brain, so maybe. I don’t really know.

You can get a $25 gift certificate if you tell us a bit more about yourself: what you hope to get out of pheros, your personality, where you will be using them and on whom. Then we can recommend some help.

Heya Cyber! So glad to make your acquaintance! Where do you live in AZ? I lived in the Phoenix area for 8 years, 6 in Glendale and 2 in Tempe.
You pose an interesting question, when I first found the site, I was skeptical and looked for scientific research on pheros. Seems that there is very little scientific research available on the web about the effectiveness of pheros overall, unfortunately. There is however a wealth of information, albeit not as scientific, available on the effects of pheros on individual members and those around them. The Athena Institute had performed a number of studies but received little attention from peer reviewed journals til fairly recently. I imagine due to the cost constrictions of brain wave measuring devices, the research has been mainly done thru tracking results through logs, journals, etc. A link to one such article can be found here: `http://www.athenainstitute.com/10xstudy.html`
Shame, I think brainwave activity would be an amazing measure of [pheromone](https://a314.com/shop/) effectiveness. Researchers are probably cautious to avoid putting out findings that are too conclusive as the results may pave the way for higher levels of regulation of pheros as controlled substances, (for an interesting discussion see [THE SCIENCE IN SOCIETY REVIEW](http://74.125.155.132/search?q=cache:UofQJOwRnY0J:www.thetriplehelix.org/resources/Spring-2009-Web.pdf+the+triple+helix+%2B+university+of+chicago+%2B+pheromones&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us) ) page25 page 27 in the HTML doc.
Peer reviewed research aside, I know that I have beneffitted from the effects of pheros. The great thing about androtics is they offer a 200% guarantee on their products and if you are looking to try the product to see if it helps you get the level of social interaction that you are looking for, you can earn a $25 gift certificate through a post much like the one that you have started. It does require a bit greater level of disclosure from you as to what you would hope to achieve with pheros, where you are at now, what types of social interactions you are looking for, etc. There are experts on the forum that can help you gain the level of social interaction you seek with the help of pheros. And if you use the gc, if you do not see results you have lost nothing but shipping charges, and a few moments of your time.
Anyway, I hope this helps and welcome to the forum and I wish you all the best on the start of your phero adventures!

Welcome!

You may want to browse the “pheromone theory” and “studies and abstracts” subforums. You will find many links to interesting articles.

Thanks. And thank you for the great links and info. A serious hobby of mine for years now has been brainwave entrainment. That field also suffers from a lack of studies, making both fields seem somewhat of a pioneering adventure: although I’ll wager pheros are a lot more fun (and a lot less dangerous).

- Hmmm, I thought I did tell you everything about myself. Seriously, I’m a very boring guy… Okay, let’s see what else I got:

I do live in Phoenix and that raises concerns for me over how pheros will react in the extreme dry heat here.

I am self employed - doing most of my work on the computer - so I don’t get out of the house a lot. However, I am the primary caregiver for my 6 year old daughter so when I am out I’m often dealing with a lot of moms, ballet teachers, and such. Now, I won’t lie and say It wouldn’t be fun and stroke my ego to get all the moms hot and bothered, but I also can’t claim that as my primary interest in pheros (btw mostly Latinas around here 😃).

I’m really interested in some of the self effects and also, as I touched upon above, the pioneering aspect. Reports on these boards indicate that pheros can facilitate; increased alertness and focus, stress reduction and relief of social anxiety, also so much more. The future of pheros is fascinating in that regard. For the present, I’m really excited about the possibility of finding pheros that can make me more effective in all my life activities.

Here’s a specific example. Could I use pheros to help me win more money playing poker? Something that confuses people would be a nice start. Then after that, anything that gives a predictable reaction would help: I can outplay any opponent if I know consistently how they are thinking.

I know I’m not doing very well at this introspection deal, and really, given my lack of phero experience, I’m not entirely sure what information would be useful. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions that may lead to helpful replies.

Any pheros that can help me meditate?

And… I’m gonna leave it here for now because this took me 4 hours to write - I really do need help focusing lol (and I was watching the NFL game).

Heya Cyber! So are you guys still in triple digits, (weatherwise)? I just could not take the heat. In terms of pheros diffusion in hot dry weather, pheros work with your own body heat to diffuse, so temperature should not create an obstacle to effectiveness. If anything the higher temperatures should be helpful.

I think yours is the first post that I have come across that focuses more on self effects than effects on others to increase social interaction. In terms of self effects, are you looking for increased self confidence?

I know that you had mentioned focus, there are some reports on increased focus for one of the experimones, but those are more advanced products that are generally best reserved until you have some experience with the mixes. TAF has come up for focus in the forums.

In terms of poker, I’m not much of a gambler so it’s hard to say, but I have to imagine that [Instant Openness](https://a314.com/product/instant-openness/) and Instant Honesty might be useful to get people to involuntary disclose information that can be used to your advantage. The trick being developping a way to apply these pheros so that you don’t put yourself at a disadvantage due to the self-effects. Maybe using application points to the back of the neck, back of the hands.

- The weather right now is almost ideal. I think in the last couple of weeks we’ve had highs around 90 and lows maybe down around 40. I enjoy the summer heat except it can really restrict many activities.

- One of the major interests of my life is self programming. I continuously strive to further myself and believe that making the world a better place is best accomplished by improving one’s self. Because this is so important to me, my major interest in pheros naturally stems from what value they may have as tools helping me reach these goals.

- This is actually quite interesting and on the mark. I know that phero users in this community seem to become adept at reading the subtle signals others are sending. Maybe pheros are good training for poker? Also, as a general rule, friendly poker games with talking and laughter are usually the most profitable type.

I want to thank again everyone who took time to reply here. All of your gentle probing and insightful comments have done wonders for enabling me to solidify what I’d like to get out of pheros on a _personal_ level. I wish I had you all to help clarify all aspects of my life: I know I’d function much better as a human being.🙂

I’m not a frivolous social person and also haven’t found anyone in my current area who shares any of my interests. As a result, most of my social interactions are born from necessity. They are not something I particularly enjoy or even try to enjoy.

How can pheros help me with that? Well, I guess it wouldn’t hurt me to loosen up occasionally and have some fun around these people (I don’t drink, smoke, use caffeine, etc., etc., blah, blah lol). Maybe, I’ll try out something like [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) and see if it makes the social parts of my day a little less of a chore.

Also, I would like to try those other pheros that can change peoples reaction towards me and may facilitate my getting whatever I am after. I know there are a myriad of choices here especially given all the possible custom mixes. I guess I’ll just have to start out with the main line products and see what really works for me.

This seems like a journey I want to embark on. I can’t wait to get started.
