hey ppl!! ok welll ive been searchin around for the past few hours and even though i have seen some relevent threads, i couldnt get a definite answer to the question that wat is the best way to learn and explore nlp and hypnosis? ive looked around and theres so much information on these topics and most of it is too deep. im luking for something that is more user friendly. im sorry if im repeating sum that has already been answered, but i swear i cant find sum recommedations of books on user friendly hypnosis especially linked to the stuff talked about in neil s ‘the game’ book. something along those lines!! thank youu ---

Perhaps the fastest way will be to find someone to practice with; you can identify a technique or principle, then ~do it~ rather than just read about it. You’re quire capable of learning NLP and hypnosis methods quickly. Be hypnotized. As you learn to go deep into trance, hear the suggestion that you will become very comfortable and skilled hypnotizing yourself and others. Cheers Mark ---

FWIW… the active NLP community has a horrifying range of quality… from the disgustingly incompetent to the mind liberatingly brilliant… and not all the big names and their programs are what they’re cracked up to be… find a few great teachers, stick with them for a while… shop carefully, and don’t believe everything you hear… ---

What do you want out of NLP? Do you want to use it for Seduction specifically? If so, Ross Jeffries - Basic Home Seduction Course should be what you’re looking for. If you want to learn NLP as a whole, I suggest you start with Introducing NLP by Joseph O’Connor & John Seymour. Keep in mind that NLP is a dangerous road to go down with seduction in mind, and it should be used responsibly. I haven’t used the forbidden patterns talked about in the community, but seriously, if they do work, why would you want to manipulate somebody into being of interest in you? I think the best strategy for Pick-Up is to go down the “natural game” path by improving who you are at the core root of the problem, and NLP and Hypnosis in that regard CAN be very effective. Some recommendations for natural game starting with inner-game would include Carlos Xuma - The Alpha Man program; anything by RSD (Real Social Dynamics - don’t be fooled by Style’s writing in the game… remember he KNOWS NLP, and it is quite apparent that The Game was written in a competitive fashion); anything by theApproach with Vin Dicarlo; anything by Zan; anything by Gunwitch; and anything by Swinggcat. That should get you started in the right direction… forget about magic tricks, canned material, and NLP - that is all advanced stuff until you transform youself into a better man, which is really what women want. Trust me when I say this, Style wrote The Game in a competitive fashion… he released the Annihilation Method shortly after for 3,000 a pop only to be a ripped off version of the Mystery Method. Style is a PUG, no doubt, and definately up there in the top 5, but the real way to get women is to be the best self you can possibly be, and the Mystery Method (while it does work wonders) discourages that by turning you into something you may not be. Just a little tidbit of advice. I’d also maybe start researching some of the Seduction forums. Start with [Alpha Interactions](http://www.alphainteractions.com) (ran by a member on this site), and visit their forum - this is where I started out, and it helped me a lot. Last but not least, have fun and take it slowly. At first I was only interested in the magic bullets that the marketing ploys these guys push entailed, but you’ll soon find out that the magic bullets are only useful if you know what you’re doing. Personally, I’d rather better myself from the inside out, than try to change from the outside in. Hope that helps. ---

One good suggestion is to buy this book, read it carefully, think about what they are saying, reread it, apply the lessons… dollar for dollar it is a tremendous bargain, it isn’t a PUA book, it IS a book about being a highly effective communicator… which, BTW, is what mastering NLP is all about, just in a different way… **Made to Stick: Why Some Ideas Survive and Others Die** by Chip and Dan Heath… available on amazon for $15 plus shipping… **Social Intelligence: The New Science of Human Relationships** by Dan Goleman, available in paperback… And there is one that got my attention: Sorry I borrowed this list, here are the ways you can deveop your attention-focus skills: _Directed attention Continuous attention Resurgent attention Close attention Tamed attention Pacified attention Fully pacified attention Single-pointed attention Attentional balance Shamatha_ \*\* So go read: **The Attention Revolution: Unlocking the Power of the Focused Mind** by Alan Wallace IMHO… the Critical Missing Piece in both NLP as it is currently taught and in the PUA community is the art of attention focusing… After years of observation I have conclucded that the absolute power center of getting hot partners, great realtionships, mind boggling sex, winning at every aspect of life, is HOW and HOW WELL one pays attention… you want to know what eye popping, mind blowing, life changing sex IS ?
