I heard this comment last night after a girl got up and looked at my hand. At first I had no clue what she was doing then pieced it together after spying on their conversations. Yes - a ring, a few stories and a photo or two in your wallet of your ā€œdeadā€ partner/fiancee/love of your life is an opener Iā€™ve seen used to devastating effect many times over the years. Even when the guys concerned didnā€™t have any actual loss to mourn. Not that Iā€™ve ever needed to stoop so low of course. šŸ™‚ And when I was engaged, yes the sight of a ring didnā€™t seem to put that many women off at all. ---

Interesting. I had this ridiculously hot neighbor that lived above me above me a few years ago. There was some attraction and something almost happened, but I donā€™t play where I lay. So I got married and moved out. Went on my honeymoon and came back. While I was unboxing some stuff, I found something of hers that I had borrowed. I called her up on the way to work one sunday. She said I could drop it off. I get there and her and 2 friends are scantily clad. I mean really they were all hot and not wearing enough clothes. She talked with me a bit So Iā€™m about to leave and she says I can give you a hug now, you are no longer dangerous. After I left I called her and asked her what was up with her and her friends and her inviting me in. She said that she thought I would appreciate it, besides itā€™s not like anything would happen. I was safe. I forgot to mention that although they were dressed in clothes that you might sleep in I guess, they had hair and make up done. Maybe there is a pheromone that says you are taken.
