Someone once told me that the easiest way to pick up an Aussie lass was to not be an Aussie lad. Some associates of mine going down there til the end of the year for a work project. I often get asked if I am from across the ditch and conversations begin. Mind you though, only those in the late 20’s or older do that. Haha, they can be a bit hard to win over. I’m working on an aussie over here in Canada, lol. I worked on her sister first, and wow is she hard to get along with. No boy can get along with her and she seems to hate all guys. Though she is also interested in them, lol she is strange. I am working on the other, we hung out and stuff and seemed to get along with her. We were actually like best friends. But then I acted out of character one time, and she seemed fine, then next time I talk to her she is all weirded out and says she doesn’t want to hang out anymore… strange I say, and a little immature. I just wanted to be friends with her, lol. Though I can’t seem to find any Canadian girls I want to hang with so I’m stuck with this crazy aussie, lol. ---

See this, THIS is why alot of aussie guys buy Pheros (I saw a topic on it a couple weeks back raising the issue as to why alot of aussie blokes buy Androtics pheros); we need everything we can to get a leg-up dispite the home ground advantage! Girls vex me (along with sums and the dicotomy of good ‘n’ evil), but its even worse when due to whatever aussie girl’s upbringings are different from the state’s, UK’s or where-ever, we’re fighting an uphill battle to start with. This will probably get a little controversial after the little comment I’m about to make but here goes; Due to the influences of Paris Hilton, combined with Bratz dolls and perhaps a little bit of the OC, most younger ladies these days are dressing and acting for lack of a better word, skanky, but from what I can tell, Aussie girls are still incredibly difficult to get close to dispite giving appearances and impressions of being available and desirable, and the second a guy, any guy tries to make a move, unless in a socially acceptable setting for sexual aggression, the girl will raise shields and load all weapons to get the guy to back off usually using feminism as the main guns (how many feminists would defend a girl objectifying herself however??)… obviously I’m saying plain and simple “If you don’t want sexual attention in general social settings, don’t wear a micro mini and carpet bomb your face with heavy make up before you go to the post office or corner store” I could be speaking totally for my home town and its population when talking about the way girls act vs how they portrey themselves but it may just be the same everywhere else… or I could be lynched for my observations… BUT BACK TO THE ORIGINAL POINT… Going from my little tyrade, I agree wholeheartedly with jamesmathers; that aussie girls are difficult dispite appearances, and yeah, Androtics pheros maybe incredibly effective but its like giving us guys a handgun to defend ourselves against a tank; better than nothing but in the end it may do absolutely nothing! Rumor has it that else where in the world, aussie guys are naturally hits with ladies, is it due to the exotic accent or the fact that we’re fighting the toughest fight of all, and others seem easy by comparasion? ---

Sounds like you guys have never been to Queensland… Girls seem to outnumber the guys and they are quite easy from what I’ve been exposed to. The Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Brisbane inparticular are the best places to spend the weekend. The biggest problem is picking out the underage ones… ---

from my experience, lol, I think the aussie accent is hot. I like to bug the aussie girl I’m working on and she seems to like it. Me and her may not be best friends anymore, but we still email and stuff, I’m just going to have to work a lot harder to get back to where we were. Anyways back to your question. Ya, it’s probably the accent, it’s hot on aussie girls anyways. And probably the fact like you said, other girls are easier in camparison compared to the aussie girls. Well, we are done with eachother. We both decided that we obviously can’t get a long to well, so it’s best if we just not associate. So now I’m free from the crazy aussie, though it’s kinda sad to lose a friend, and I’m feeling a little down about it, i’m glad to get all the drama out of my life. Oh and did I mention her sister left me a nasty email. i even talked to my cousin who I let read the email to prove there was nothing to make anybody angry in it. And she agreed that there isn’t. it’s like this aussie girl just looked for something she could get angry at. i seriously don’t understand her, and then she gets her sister to start getting pissed at me. Heck, I am not down anymore. I’m real happy to get away from the crap they were trying to pull on me. Now of course this is just two aussie girls. but from what most people are saying, a lot of them are like this. I wish you guys the best of luck. It seems you truly are trying to fight a tank with a pistol. There has to be some way to open the hatch and throw a grenade in, lol. you just have to find it. As for me, I’ve got a rocket Launcher, and i’m comparing the canadian girls to a jeep, fast, and witted, and sometimes unpredictable, but at least my chances don’t involve me getting blown to bits. no, ive travelled and lived everywhere, and the 2 most un-responsive nationalities of girls r the swedes and aussies, incidentally both hotbeds of feminism, ball crushing, male spirit sapping, and female domination in general…here in Sydeny, i do well, but not with aussies, with International students and backpackers…and every time i see an aussie chick? who is she kissing? another girl!!! theyre sick, society here is spoilt and twisted, due to a new generation of super rich kids, living ina den of hedonism and debauchery, ITS FRIGGIN ANCIENT ROME HERE, PEEPS! everything is turned upside down…, go to a club, and youre tansported to Ceasars ballroom, trannies, dikes, poofs, metros, millionaires, celebrities and hangers ons,… …so, to continue this rant,…the young chick 'uns prefer girls to guys…and the guys respond by trying to act gay and metro themselves to attract the women, i know guys who wax, manicure, wax there balls, fake tan etc.,and y dear suffering brethren? the women here demand that the men look and act as gay and pussified as possible.this city is now sooo superficial, materialistic and shallow, and this is the latest trend. every bloody time i go to a pub, im competing with metro sexual jocks, but most often, other girls themselves!!! so, peeps, im stocking up on female mones to attract the lezo’s! 🙂 ---

I’ll second that one james. Sydney sure ain’t an easy place for the single hetrosexual male. I’d have to say that young girls here are waaaaaay too influenced by the fashion mags and the media. Their mothers grew up in generation Greer where they were taught to put down the man. They listen like gospel to what their momma tell em. So upbringing does have a lot to do with this, together with poor media exposure. Speaking of that, a terribly discriminatory advert airs in this place every night i turn on the TV. It goes something along the lines of “Because to violence agaist women, australia says NO”. I have nothing against this, but it is discriminatory in the fact that there is no advert allowed on TV here which shows how much violence is gender-reveresed in this society. Statistical figures can back me up on this. Domestic violence in australia is not skewed to 1 direction, so I find this advert HIGHLY dicriminatory and generalised against ALL australian males. Imagine what women think of us when they watch these adverts. Any aussie women on these forums would like to comment about the ads? When they show the women bashed, bruised, and complaining about men for 2 minutes long, it yells to me that we have a very feminist society where a man’s words come second to what the female says. If men a tradiotionaly the decision-makers and providers in life, it’s no wonder so many women here complain there are no “decent” men left. They’ve “fallen on their own swords” by what they’ve created, so to speak. Lets hope the calming effects of the pheros can do their job ---

The current affair of the female personae… I don’t know too much about psychology or even group dynamics, but what I’ve gleaned from this post and seen for myself out there in the world is pretty typical of society. I know from many medical journals I’ve read that psychologically speaking, women like to be like their predecessors. They want stability, but the unique-ness of defining who they are in relation to that standard is also a priority. Kind of the “psycho” behaviour you may notice where she seems perfectly fine and capable of following along with the ideals placed before her, but when her identity is threatened either from the unique standard or from the tradition standard, they will retaliate. I can’t say I’ve ever tried to flirt with an Australian lady, but I suspect they are no different from any other woman out in the world. They have perticular needs and desires that are to be met and fulfilled before continuation of relations. With A314, they may see it as a throw back to the times of women being second class citizens, and then defend themselves accordingly. Everytime I’ve ever met a woman with a therapist it can go two ways; the common way is that women do not date a therapist because they lose the security blanket of being able to gossip with someone, and the other way is dating because they are attracted to stability and the therapist offers stability. Also considering the demographics of the region, Canada is generally more open to other things, while America can be a little narcissistic and geared towards immediate results, whilst on the other hand Japan can be seen as the goal for end results and patience being the virtue at hand. I have consider that those -nones don’t work on the Asians because of the idea that most -nones seem to be instant gratification smells, while the other smells work because they offer stability and give a sense of long term to them. That may just be me, though. I wish I could offer a perticular formula for sucess, or even a phrase to offer courage in the light of these situations affecting you, but in the end all I can say is that you should be like a crab in the way they walk. Even though you cannot walk straight to the prize, sometimes to you have to walk completely sideways and around the object to get where you want, but you’ll get there, and your hard shell will help along the way.
