I think I’ll always be open to all types of girls, no matter where they are from, but from what I’ve read, from how I’ve seen the aussie girls I’ve dealt with deal with other men, and my experience with them myself, next time I meet an aussie girl who I think is alright, I’m walking real carefull around them, and I’ll be ready to pull out and retreat with guns ablazing if I have to. I do not want to go through what I had to with these ones happening again.
I agree, they seem to be quite into girly men I think. Actually, the one aussie girl, the reason why she never like me, was cause I didn’t have an english accent, I didn’t have long hair, and I acted to manly… For goodnes sakes, I’m a guy, I was born in Canada, and I’m not growing my hair long, lest I be beaten by my guy friends. And if any of you are from England I’m not saying your girly, lol, that was just her preference which made it impossible for me to get with her. Also show’s she’s not open to other cultures. Every guy that even had an interest in her, she treats real nasty. Quite defensive she is.
Oh, and when I did the swap, it took a very long time. I was always friends with the one girl, and it was quite a long time after before we finally started hanging out. IT wasn’t like, I tried one girl, then switched the next week. It was quite natural. Like, pretty much a year in time difference before we started hanging out.
I studied in Queensland in 2004, and when you mention it, maybe girls were kinda hard to get by. But I come from Scandinavia, so I’m used to girls being a bit introverted and “feministic”. I guess the difference I felt was that the aussie girls were easier to get along with on a professional basis, but difficult to befriend or -even worse- seduce.
But this of course mirrors the male population. I found the oz-race () to be quite open and straight-on, but very hard on each other.
Like someone commented: “Ozzies love to take the piss out of each other” or something like that. I actually thought that Scandinavia was the harshest country to be a teen/youth in, but I actually found that the individual conflicts were even harder in Australia.
And this type of harshness I relate directly to the “old, strong male”-behaviour. Where everyone below, say, 30 years gets very much piss from older aggressive men. I remember the suicide rates when I was down there was really in the media all the time (suicide is also the most common premature death cause in Scandinavia, however not so extreme).
OK so this post started out funny and ended in tragedy hehe but I guess my point is that girls HAVE to be defensive in this country due to the aggressive older males have no stoppage at clubs and thelike.
And the solution I guess would be to have a different or original approach. They probably get so many tiresome encounters from older guys at discos and clubs. I guess maybe having private parties and spraying a litre of instant openness would be a party booster
