I got my bottle of EW and was expecting the worst because everywhere I looked, people guaranteed to me that the smell would be horrid, but when I opened it, I was pleasently surprised. It smells very sweet and flora to me… like some sort of flower candy… am i weird? Did I get a bottle of something else? Does anyone else smell this or enjoy the smell of EW? ---

I think to a male it smells different than how we females smell it. Males are naturally attracted to the smell of copulins, so maybe that is why you like the smell, whereas we women find it rancid! 🙂 ---

FauxLover, I suspect you may have bought a version of EOW that does not have the rancid smell. I read somewhere that the recent versions have the Indole (what causes the rancid rotten cheese smell) removed or in very low amounts. Trust me, Lizzie-M, the original versions smell bad whether you are male or female. However, I still stand by the fact that my EoW smells rancid (and i have the new version)! 😛 lol. I know i’ve never smelt the old version, and therefore cannot really make comparisons, but the one i have still smells horribly cheesy (it still has indole in it - but maybe a lower concentration like you said)… it definitely _doesn’t_ smell pleasantly floral (well not to me anyway)! I have to keep it wrapped up in tissue in a sealed container or else it stinks my room out.. even then the fumes still somehow escape.. 😮 ---

After exposing myself to it more… the smell is starting to change. It still smells sweet but now it’s kind of sour as well. It kind of makes me queasy in the stomach when i huff it. It doesnt really smell like butt out of the bottle but when I smelled my fingers after handling the bottle and mixing utensils, it smelled like someone stuck my fingers in their ass… ---
