Hey Renee, welcome to one of the most informative forums on the net for pheromones. If you’ve taken a quick look around theres plenty of friendly people and valuable information posted at the top of the main forums. But after you look around about you’ll see that the people here are quite passionate about the pheromones, a little too passionate for it to be a scam. I’m not sure about the party you want to, did you get to try someone else’s [pheromone products](https://a314.com/shop/)? How were they? Its important to use the right pheromones for your goals though. I can recommend a few things from my own experience and reading other peoples experiences but I need to know more about you. Theres many different pheromones for different purposes and its really important to know how you would like to use them before recommending anything. Tell us about yourself and your personality, whats your main goal in using pheromones, and who you would like to use them with. Maybe your looking for more social interaction? More confidence at work? Even things like if your looking to settle down in a long term relationship or if your more into partying and want to just hook up. The the pheromones give different vibes and better suited for different purposes. Also another important thing to note is that pheromones will help you in whichever direction your going but you also need to put in some effort. What this means is the pheromones can give off a vibe and attract attention but what you do with that attention is in your hands. Pheromones are like a different set of clothing that signals the people around you what your looking for. If you can imagine, if you don’t put those clothing to good use and or interact with people the pheromones wont help. Theres also many other things about social interaction you may want to consider such as your own mannerisms and the way you talk. Pheromones can actually give you confidence and this would enhance these things, but if you don’t let yourself improve all areas of your own social interaction you may still get the same results as before the pheromones. So please do tell us more about yourself so we may recommend how to best use pheromones. Daset1- I did not use the [pheromone spray](https://a314.com/product-category/spray-pheromones/) because I am on birth control and a girl there, as well as the hostess, said that if you are on any kind of hormones you should consider not using this spray because it could cause you to have a weird or bad smell. I’m not sure if this is true or not because I was completely unaware that pheromones even existed until then (thus my reason for coming to this site). I wanted to try some sort of product that would help in the social interaction area as well confidence and attracting men. I’m one of those people that I’m uncomfortable with people until I can figure out how their personality is. It’s a lot easier for me to get along with very outgoing people. I have a hard time knowing if I should just be myself or be more guarded . When I am comfortable, I’m very informal with people and I don’t hold back much at all. I also have issues with my appearance turning people away from me. A few guys who I have dated or have gone out with have informed me that when they first saw me, I seemed very unapproachable. I look very serious, smart, and almost intense. I’m assuming this is because I dress very modest and I wear glasses. Also, I’ve been told that because I don’t wear a lot of make up that it makes me seem like a very confident woman in my appearance and makes men uncomfortable. To me, this is silly because I lack a lot of confidence in myself in trying to approach people and being comfortable. Welcome to Pherotalk Seahorse! I personally don’t user birth control but I am sure there are many women here who use [pheromones](https://a314.com/) on birth control with no side effects or little. You can pop into the women’s section and ask them. I don’t use make-up. I don’t wear glasses and dress that sexy so it has to do with your appearance but you could wear a sexy outfit, loads of make up and without that confidence a woman needs not wear the shit out of that outfit. In terms of confidence, when you have it and know how to work it you can get away with plenty. I have purposely gone out with flat shoes, looking all natural and because of the way I carried myself cause guys to say that they love a natural woman and I should stay that way. We all need to improve on ourselves but do it for you and not for others. Pay some attention to the guys comments but men usually don’t know what they want it’s up to you to ensure he respects you and desires you without having to change when his mood changes. Whenever you step out or just for you, make sure you feel sexy and confident. Start from the hair and work all the way down. Hair, nails, clothes, body. We women are special creatures and our appeal is our body. You don’t have to be overly sexy with stuff showing but elegant. Take care of you on a daily basis and that will shine through.
