# i want to give away a $50 GC to androticsdirect

**When will someone be choosen:** Some time between June first and the end of June.  
**Why?** I want to.  
**requirements** at least 50-100 posts. more then 100 posts are welcome 🙂 just want make sure someone who is helping around the forum gets it.  
**how it will work.**  
I would like you to provide a paragraph of why you **need/deserve** a $50 GC.  
And a paragraph of who you thinks deserves it and why.  
If you don’t need it please just post who you think deserves it.  
I will be the judge and choose which one I think is best.

**extra information needed**  
A name and An email address to which you want the GC sent.

I would like to have at least 3-5 pages before choosing a winner.

This doesn’t end until the end of June right? Maybe people are waiting for someone to break the ice.

There are so many deserving people. I’d vote for Mr. Feel Good. He contributes a lot to the community and his name makes my body squirm like a wave of water.

I’d vote for myself because I haven’t the money to purchase any [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) for a while. However, I do not feel like I contribute enough to the community.

I think the main thing that is keeping people from flooding in entries is that paragraph requirement. We’re searching for what to say. 😛

I’ll be the ice breaker! 😃

I’m gonna revise your headings though, Bedojo, hope you don’t mind. (I’ll also keep my real name and email not posted in my public post, if you don’t mind.) It just makes it a little bit more comfortable for me to respond to without being too self-obsessed. (Oh, and you’re awesome for doing this. 🙄)

**Why I Would Like It / Why Pick Me**  
Plain and simple: I’d use it… then I’d be right back here to report my findings. I’m the kind of guy that occupies these forums to make friends and talk about everything, not just hang out in the Introductions sub-forum trying to earn myself free swag. Every post I make has full punctuation, proper spelling, and correct grammar (unless I intentionally screw it up). And let’s not forget those smileys… I throw them out as if they’re a natural part of writing. 😃 Lastly, why I would appreciate a gift certificate is because I’m a freshman in college, who would love so very much to be able to test out more of Androtics’ offerings without putting extra stress on my wallet.

**Why \_\_\_\_\_ Should Have It / Why Pick Them**  
I’m gonna push the limits of the rules here and say that if I were to pick someone, I’d choose Jacob. Everybody knows Jacob… he’s the guy who sneaks candy into our beloved packages and always writes a personal note. Every time I’ve gotten something from Androtics I always excitedly rip it open and search for the chocolate first thing, ignoring the contents of my order till I’m done chewing. And just like me, Jacob always draws a little smiley, which is a reminder that there are people out there who exist just to make everybody else’s day just that little bit better. 🙄 Perhaps [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) should be relabeled “Instant Jacob” in his honor. 😃

EDIT:  
I’m studying Accounting at UO at the moment. I wasn’t sure I’d like it but it hit me as kinda cool and I’ve stuck with it since. I was studying Industrial Design first semester though… and while that was by far one of the coolest majors I just felt like I lacked the creativity to actually excel in it once I was past the “learning how to draw” stage.

(Nice idea to edit it… we’d end up talking about bikes, cars, or who knows what for pages again. 😃 )

So I tend to use the enter button a lot to make my postings more readable 🙂 also my space button doesn’t like to work all the time 😕

That’s basically the major(s) my dad told me to pursue originally when I had no clue of what I wanted to do. I’m not too big into physics and all, otherwise I’d prolly be there right now.

And I swear, you guys ALWAYS have the coolest projects somehow. I see pictures of them from time to time and sometimes I’m like, “Dang. I do that in my free time. Why am I not there again?” 😃

The only bummer about being at an Oregon school is how late we get out. Have you noticed how early everybody else has gotten out? Seems like everyone from out-of-state has finished for the year already. Shoot. Oh well, not like it matters, I’m doing Summer classes anyway.

I would like to nominate Sillykitty for the GC.

She puts a lot of time and input into the forum. She is one of the few members who always comes back to her posts in the intro section and answers the questions of the new people even after the responder bonuses are met. This is something I notice and indicates she cares more about the member then the bonus.

She reports frequently and shares her Insights on the products with all of us but she go’s beyond that and helps the other members all the time.

I think she fabulous and enjoy and appreciate her being a member here.

Hi there !

Just a little time to reply, so I’m picking this one before going to bed. It’s very nice of you to make such an offer ! So here we go.

**Why I need/deserve it**

I’m about to place an order soon.

I’d like to go on experimenting pheromones for a more “useful” aim, which is how to use them in the case of paraplegia (for my girlfriend and others), to get some sensitivity back and develop senses, along with making it easier to live with. My point of view on using pheros is not for pickup or seducing but for enhancing bonds between people whether I am among these people or not.

And also to use it for my girlfriend who is a very new user.

I know my point of view can be regarded as “too different to give results to PUAs”, it’s a choice.

I’d also like to keep on testing putatives, especially the least reported on.

**Why Diane999 deserves it**

Because she gives countless advice and explanations to improve with pheromones and has very acute feeling and knowledge of pheros.

**Why Lor deserves it**

Because she also has a very good feeling about pheromones, a sixth sense, and that she can see results before other members do.

That’s it ! I hope you’ll manage to make your choice cos it’s not easy picking someone and not others…

I would just like to say how cool it is that someone from the forum is doing this of their own accord and that this is not just some marketing campaign. That just really blows my mind as I thought this type of friendly gesture was all but dead in this post-modern era.

**Why I need/deserve it**

I have been a member of the community here for a little over a year. However, I generally spend most of my time lurking from thread to thread instead of actually contributing to any. So I certainly don’t fall into the the “deserve it” category. I don’t choose to not reply on the different threads, rather, I am just a more reserved member and find that most threads progress quite nicely without my input.  
For the last year or so, my wife and I have had a pretty rough time in our marriage. There are lots of excuses that can be made but it all essentially boils down to a breakdown in communication. A little over a year ago I began to suffer from unexpected anxiety attacks. I kept my feelings close to my person at all times because I was afraid to appear weak and vulnerable to her. She saw this as me simply shutting her out of what was really going on.

To be fair, she was having to work crazy hours at work because my hours were constantly getting cut due to shitty management. It was not that I did not want to exclude her from my problems; I just felt like a horrible husband for not being able to be the sole bread-winner and placing so much of the responsibilities on her. When she was home, I didn’t want to bother her with the melt downs I was going through. And like a snow ball on the side of a large mountain, slowly overtime our simple communication problem turned into a potential marriage dissolution. Lack of communication turned into a lack of trust and empathy which led to mutual animosity and on and on. Here I was, knowingly letting my own stubborn, stupid pride ruin the relationship with the only person I have ever truly loved.

Fast forward through a few months of marriage counseling and several self-help books and we are finally back to the place where we left off so long ago. Nothing has been more instrumental in the process than [Instant Honesty](https://a314.com/product/instant-honesty/). I know that probably just sounds like a ploy to get more IH but it really isn’t. One day, after having received a togo of IH, I sprayed two shots on my wrist and hopped in her car to go pick up groceries and the strangest thing happened: We talked!!! We talked like we haven’t talked in years. Once we got to the store, we just sat in the parking lot talking. Talking about everything; Work, school, plans for the future, etc… It was un-freaking believable. It lowered both of our resistance toward one another and the ice began to melt away like a glacier in the spring.

So since then I have made it a point to keep a bottle of IH near me at all times. I am about to finish my degree in High School education but before I can graduate, I have to do a semester of Student-Teaching. Student-Teaching is effectively a full time, unpaid internship. It takes all day everyday so I would have to severely reduce my hours at work. I would use the 50 dollar gift card to ensure that I had on a spray of Instant Honesty each day when I walked in next semester.

**Why (insert name) deserves it:**

This is a really tough one to be completely honest. There are so many good people here that deserve the Gift Card. Most if not all of them deserve it much more than I do for sure. If I were to pick two people, it would be Bosshank and Gegogi. I really like all of the recommendations and advice that Boss has to offer for married couples who have slipped into a rut or just a rough patch. Gegogi seems like a super cool guy and I love how he is always so eager to offer suggestions, advice or just witty feedback to all of the other members here.

I’ll play along -

I want to nominate Domnk - He’s an amazing tester, his journal is full of great reports, and he really makes it a point to fully understand the pheros he tests, completely blind, mind you.

I think he slips under the radar sometimes. He’s truly a great, great tester. I think he deserves the opportunity to test more pheros.

In addition, he also is on the edge of a new frontier in phero testing. He is bisexual, and his tests and reports reflect the effects on both genders, in sexual and social situations.

I think he should get it.

**Why I need/deserve it**

I would definitely put this cert to use in that I would further my testing of the MX line so that we can be closer to finalizing new products and adding additional information to narrow down the MX lines. I love crazy testing, am in a small college town and I travel quite a bit and this allows me to test quite frequntly. I consider myself a good tester, I try to give as much insight as I can, as I have tested the entire male consumer line with the exception of mystery boy. I have with my documenting and testing gotten to know the effects and the ins-outs of pairing pheros and layering effects. I believe I would be able to contribute, and I see this as key in our wonderful community.

I really need the GC, because I’m broke and summer college classes and books are going to kill my funds untill august… So thats the blunt part of it lol Broke.

As for another user needing it, its got to be Mikotorocks, that guy needs as much shine as we can throw at him right now. He is a valued member of this forum, regularly posting and testing and is going through a truly shit period in his life.

The key thing to remember is that these contests have nothing to do with Androtics. These are on your own accord and while the presenters of contests like these are seeming to act in the spirit of love and giving any sharing of personal info is at your soul discretion and Androtics will not be held liable.

I also want to say that reporting should be done based on your wanting to further advance the science and should not be influenced by monetary gain. Androtics has always been about research and development and your reporting should always be influenced by nothing other than that. Of course when you do help us promote the science and push it further there are benefits like reporting user status and gifts and love.

I know that these guys are doing these types of contests out of love, but please remember participation should be out of love and not monetary gain.

I agree with Reishi that Bosshank and Gegogi should be considered and I’ll add a third name. Like Bosshank and Gegogi, Visionary7903 has been around here doing his part for a long time and deserves some kudos. His work compiling posts makes all of our searches easier. He’s saved me a lot of time. I’ll bet that most people who use the advanced search feature put his name in the “find posts by” box when they start researching a putative.

Wow - just really dove into this thread tonight. I am honored that several of you have mentioned my name. Thank you.

But there are a lot more deserving folks here than I based on thier input … “old timers” like Tisha (a volunteer remember), Lor, Bella, Renny, Gegogi, Mark-In-Dallas, Visionary and certainly Tater who is currently MIA. And there are a lot of new members who have done a lot: Msselva, Remmy, Sillykitty, Tigerlilly, Xiphoid, Happykitsune and Dianne to name a few.

But I think I agree with Diamond and will go with Mikotorocks as he was very active up until the recent loss of his mother. Given the economic turmoil he indicated that is creating for his family, I think that both deserves and could use it.
