> OK then - IFM was discontinued because some people were using very high doses in order to trigger the mildly depressive side effects of A1 in men around them. One of the potential negative effects of A1 is that it can cause short-term downers in a fair number of men. This was considered unethical so M Harris pulled the product. This is also why discussing mixes involving A1 will not count towards your eventual RU status - which is very much worth getting.

To be more specific the story was that several women were wearing large doses at clubs just to see the negative effects on men (for kicks). The whole story of why IFM was discontinued is posted somewhere. Search if you want to read it.

M Harris himself noted the negative effects that A1 had when he tested it in the field and concluded that it had no use. The bottom line with A1 is that women like it but it turns men off. With A1 on even though the woman reacts positively to it the A1 is such a turn off that you don’t want to act on or follow up on the situation.

> The primary molecule in IFM is androstadieonone. Androstadienone is at the very, very end of our production schedule. Expect 3 to 5 months. I know a lot of people like this molecule, so it pains me to give a schedule like this.

> Problem is, it’s extremely expensive to make and it’s kind of funny economy. We have the synthesis done by the very same chemist who originally made it for the original Erox studies, and later for the academic studies you can find in Medline. It’s not a molecule that’s not really part of our survival strategy for the current economy, as it’s too dangerous a molecule to ethically mass market. There are significant downsides for some sensitive men.
