Hello pheroTalk my name is Shawn Docs an I’m new to this site a friend of mine told me about this site an how the people here are real an honest an were able to answer his questions. I have always wondered if pheromones really have an effect or was it just another fragrance. I look forward to being part of the group an getting answers, advice, an all the information that will help me better understand pheromones. I have a question on my mind as typing this, I’ve heard of gel, oil, an [spray pheromones](https://a314.com/product-category/spray-pheromones/) wich one works better? An if you do use the gel how would it be applied. Or if you use the oil how much does one use an if you use the spray should it be sprayed on your cloths or just skin. Also wich one of the 3 has the best results. Well later for now pheroTalk fam… ---

Hiya Spawn83, and a warm welcome to the mone forum, Pherotalk! Great place to start to answer your doubts about mones. Mones will work on the subconscious to provide that chemical signal to others that you are… Fill In the Blank… 🙂 As an example, IShine will get others to feel comfortable to be around me, to have others seem to have that feeling that I have a youthful vigor, that shine of youth. I do like IShine for most of my combo’s. Now, because it is alcohol based, it may have a more limited life span depending on the temperature, humidity and your application site. I’ve seen it last @ 4 to 6 hours, with diminishing potency as time goes on. My oil based A314 will last me all day, closer to 10 to 12 hours with less potent effects after 12 hours. It may require additional exposure time after that to get these effects of a Prime, Alpha type that knows what he’s talking about.. 😃 I haven’t tried gel laced mones, though, I have applied some socials such as IShine, IO, IH on my hair with gel on?! Hair application of these socials seem to last longer when I apply to my hair. Take a look at my sig to get the most out of the mones you do get! 🙂 ---

Hello and welcome to the forum. 1Alpha did give you some good pointers there on the difference between alcohol and oil based pheros. I think his timeline is pretty accurate. I too have never worked with gel based products so I cannot help you there either. The big thing to remember is that these products are not magic. They are more like subtle hints. The real work is you getting people to act on those subtle hints. Let us know what you think. ---

Thanks for the information an advice I just placed an order for 2 spray type [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/), I kinda feel like a kid a Christmas waiting for my package. I’m not sure which one my friend has now but I do know at one time he used one called ammunition I’m not sure of the effects he said it had on a day to day basis but he liked the way it smelled. Thanks agian for the info, quick question does the age of the people able to smell the sent matter at all meaning does it effect younger women different than more mature women ? ---

Yes there can be a difference off effects between younger and older women. The main difference you see is that sometimes younger women - say 21 and below - will can be “scared away” by a high dose of none that will attract older women 35 and up. [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) has none in it but you need to go really high with it 4 sprays or more usually - to get that effect for someone your age. Then again there are personal variables - you and them - so you have to experiment a little. ---
