\*\*Alright so yesterday I found out about this website from a Pick Up Artist forum. So lets get on with the show (I’m warning you right now this will be rather long and \*\*\*\*\*\*I will commend \*\*anybody that actually reads the whole thing lol). So my name’s PJ, I’m 21, engaged to my fiance Jamie who is turning 37 and I’ll talk about it later on in this post but she has a bit of a different view on relationships in that I am allowed and actually encouraged to date other women. I started to notice my trouble with women (and social contact in general to be honest) when I was around 14 and I chalked it up to being in puberty and just being socially awkward) Three years go by and with each year came (and went) a new strategy to get girls or even just get A girl. Nothing worked regularly and on those rare occasions when it did work I didn’t know what to do from there so I had a girl in front of me that was diggin’ me and I went into what I call “potato sack mode” where literally I was as useless as a sack of potatoes from that point on in the conversation…Anyways when I was 17 I met my first girlfriend, she came onto me and liked that I was shy so she tried to help fix my problems with talking to girls a couple different ways like by having me hang out with her and her girlfriends or having her go up to a girl and say hi and get the 3 of us talking together but I still froze up. It didn’t even matter if I liked the girl or not…My self confidence went down the crapper even further at this point because now I was trying to be who my girl wanted me to be when I was with her (and it wasn’t working) and then I still had the trouble with the real me and that swung me into a depression and a bout of drug abuse. Fast forward a year and a half and one breakup later, I had dealt with my drug abuse and the depression was starting to no longer be a problem. My confidence had gone way up during my time in a rehab facility and I could actually talk to girls a little bit now (even some that I was attracted to). Although my conversations never went anywhere I did gain confidence and that was HUGE for me. This all happened over a period of about 6 months. Now at about this point in time I moved, started going to college for my first semester and was living in a house half a mile from campus (bad choice as it’s a lot harder to make friends when not living on campus I realize that now but it ended up being good in the end) so at this house I lived with a guy that I didn’t like too much and the woman who would later become my fiance…During the time before me and her connected however I had met someone on this site ([OkCupid.com](http://OkCupid.com)) and she and I had basically a 2 week fling which was awesome but ended abruptly when she found out that I was an ex-addict and she was 100% against drugs so oh well, I knew it was coming and I just was dragging out the inevitable… Jamie (my fiance) came into my life at this point and she and I instantly hit it off, I never once went into “potato sack mode” even though I really liked her I could just be me and I was shocked. We fell hard for each other and we’ve spent the past 2 years practically inseparable from each other and things have never been better except for one fact. She is a voyeur and loves me being with another girl (now this works great for our relationship because I’m 21, she’s 37 so obviously when she’s 50 I’ll still be in my mid 30’s and sexually I’ll be able to have either my fiance or someone that I meet in the future and start dating) also she doesn’t like other guys, she only likes me being into other girls so that’s another great point of our relationship but it brought up a problem for me again…finding a girl on the side…I tried to pick up girls and then went back to online dating and I met this girl Holly who I’ve been seeing but it has shown me that once again I am much more socially inept than most people my age… This is what started me getting into stuff like The Game by Neil Strauss and on a forum for picking up chicks is where I found this website and I have done some reading and I must say that **in my opinion** this site is a GOLDMINE as long as the [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/) work as I’ve read they do I’m ready to try this out…I ordered a to go bottle of AMMO last night at work and am awaiting its arrival. In the meantime however I started setting up controls **(absolutely no external pheromones)**\*\*\*\* for testing and of course reporting to the forums on the pheromones I try\*\* \*\*as I am very scientifically oriented and I want to be SURE of what product produces what results so that the end result is me finding the perfect combination(s) of pheromones for various scenarios and getting the results that I want from these combinations. Now in setting up the controls I have two categories (people and places) with the people category I am basically just thinking about girls that I’ve been interested in or see regularly and where they are and how they act towards me on a normal basis and with the places category it is more how I am treated in certain places such as restaurants or malls by people that I don’t regularly see. Now I have a few controls from the people category already set up that I am very excited to try out. One of which is a girl that I see regularly at Stop and Shop on my way home from work so yesterday I stopped in and kind of mentally logged her behavior towards me which was completely normal, no real interest in me except her acknowledging that she’s seen me before by asking me if I needed her to use the store card as usual but other than that it just seemed like she was doing her job which is perfect. I did this at a couple more places that I frequent **and when I got home I wrote down any mental notes that I had made.** Tonight I will go to a bar or restaurant and do the same thing so that I have a control set up in the places category as well. If anyone has any suggestions as to how I should set up my controls as well as my experiments they would be greatly appreciated because since I am doing this research both for myself AND the community (as I will be reporting the results here) I want my results to be in a format that the community will be able to easily take in and utilize in their research so ALL INPUT IS WELCOME! Lastly what I hope to achieve with pheromones is to be able to feel more at ease approaching girls, having conversations with girls or even having girls approach me, and just in general improve my social connections with women between the ages of 18-40 (because of my age and my fiances’ age I connect with a much wider age group than I assume most do but I could be wrong in this assumption) and also if there are pheromones that help connections with just friends of the same sex then that would be great as well because my social interactions are impaired on all levels meaning with both guys and girls, it’s just more noticeable, to me at least, with girls than it is with guys. So that’s practically my life story right there if there is anything you want me to elaborate on or explain better or if you just wanna say hey then by all means say it! I’m glad to be joining this community and I just want to mention that I’ve been a moderator on 2 different forums and although I no longer am on those sites I know what does and doesn’t work within the community of a forum so I hope to make some good friends here 😃. Hey there PJ, welcome to the forum! Wow, you’ve got an interesting story there. From what I’ve read it sounds like you’ve had (and still have to some extent) social anxiety. Pheromones won’t be a ‘cure’ for that but I think that a social mone like IO can help you get your foot in the door. IO is the one that gives off a relaxed, friendly, approachable vibe, and will work for both genders. IH may also be good for deepening bonds you already have and get closer to them. I’ve never used Ammo myself (as I am female 😛) but I’ve heard consistent, raving reviews, so I think that was a good call. Could you tell us perhaps a little bit more about your personality in general? If we know about how you usually come off, we can help cater your mones more specifically. 🙂 Also, it is really awesome to see that you’ve started ‘control’ testing! It would be great if you could open up a journal on the men’s forum to keep us updated. It’s a great place to figure out what might work for you, to get further advice, and for the community here to benefit from having another perspective. I think there are stickied posts you could refer to to find out what sort of information you should note in a journal, but some that come to mind are the environment (weather, what kind of situation) accurate dosages of what you’ve applied and where, and of course the ‘hits’ you’ve seen. Thank you for actually taking the time to read that haha 🙂 I don’t know why the heck my font was bold and now it’s not but that’s not important, so yea social anxiety…definitely got it, along with some insomnia, add, ocd and some small depression issues that I have some kinks to work out and I’ll post more about that tomorrow when I haven’t been drinking too much haha I just wanted to say that I will have a journal up shortly once I have a few more “controls” to add but I will say that (so long as I remember them) I have some controls from a couple different bars so that’ll all go into my journal when I make one after having become a bit more accustomed to the site, reading some more and figuring out how the community works around here 🙂 Thanks for the response Spinach 😃 ---

A PUA forum brought you here? Interesting. I would like to address a few points of your very long post,. First is your concept of controls. Do not get me wrong I love the precision of it all, but it is an impossible ideal. Women catagorize you, people do, when they meet you. First impressions set how you are viewed. If she already has an impression of you cant change that. Mone testing is best used to establish a new connection and have people view you in the light that pheramones shine. If becoming more confident helped your anxiety then we have a sure fire way to improve your problems, become more confident.How do we do that? Reference experiences. You need to be social with people and not have it explode in your face. I personally would set a small goal of approaching three people a day and saying hi. And walk away. That is all. You would expand that once you are completely fine walking up to men and women, and saying hello. Sounds stupid, but if you know PUA, its a social approach of a Newbie Mission. It is about desensitizing yourself. I have a tread in my sig about PUA and would love to help you out. I was a community guy for a few years and still am, kinda sorta. I have just evolved away form a LOT of the structure most teach and dropped routines. Approaching strangers with mones on will prove they work and help your confidence as a STRANGER thought you were a cool guy, not someone who already likes you. You know when people get to know you they like what the fund, the initial approval is more important. As far as what mones to you, I would get a to-go of [Instant Honesty](https://a314.com/product/instant-honesty/) and Instant Oppenness. The IH will allow you to flow more when deeper in conversation, and IO will make approaching people vastly easier. They, when combined, mimic the best social product made CTTM or Come Talk to Me. It is a great place to start. Summer Ammo would help relax you. It is Ammo plus TAA the lead component of Instant Shine and P130, the laid back cool guy molecule. I would keep this simple, wear soem Ammo, or Summer Ammo, go into stores, as someone for help. Short, simple, and just get chatty. Saying anything is being chatty. Baby steps. Awesome reply, thank you. I’m glad you mentioned what I was doing wrong as far as the controls go because I am new to this and that was simply something for me to do partially to gain some confidence but also to see the difference between me without the mones and me with them but I do understand how it is an impossible ideal BUT I can get as close to a control as possible. I get where you’re coming from with the whole first impression thing but I do want to see how the mones affect both interactions with new people and interactions with people that I have already interacted with before. I don’t know too much about the whole PUA thing but as I said I did find out about this site on a PUA forum but I’m still relatively new to the whole thing. I will definitely read the thread you wrote on it, thank you. So I got my GC and I spent it and a small amount of points on a To Go bottle of A314 to try it out because I heard it is a great product for the work environment and I am up for a promotion within the next month or two going from an employee working at a hardware store at $15/hr to managing the store with a $50k/yr salary so I want that “Trust me, I’m a strong reliable alpha MAN that you WANT to follow” effect that I’ve read that it shows. So was this a good choice for a person in my position? Hi PJ, Awesome, you got A314! I think it’s a great choice for your needs. Just don’t rush into it - Alpha Male-ness is something that needs to be introduced gradually to the people who already know you, or they won’t respond properly. Slow and steady will win the race here, and hopefully snag you that promotion. 😃 I’m sure there are more detailed guides in the men’s forum, but starting with just one spray a day and gradually working your way up seems like a safe way to run things. And, if your mones are portraying a strong reliable alpha vibe, make sure your attitude, posture, behaviour and language reflect this too, otherwise it’ll be very confusing for people! It does help a lot and I will definitely start gradually especially with the people that know me as the shy quiet kid that works there because I don’t want to just show up and end up looking like I’m just trying to work harder so I get the promotion but thank you for telling me about changing my attitude while I’m using the mones because that’s a very good point that I wasn’t thinking about at all haha. ---

Went to kinkos last night to pick up my AMMO To Go bottle! Today will be the first day that I get to actually test it so I am extremely excited. I know what the normal responses should look like but I’m trying to keep that at the back of my mind because I don’t want to be thinking I’m getting hits when really it’s just my mind playing tricks on me because I know the type of response that I WANT to have. Instead I’m going to focus on what IS happening rather than what SHOULD be happening. I’m very excited to become a part of this community and again thanks to everyone here for making me feel welcome here as well as the information that has been contributed to this site to make it easier for new people to learn about mones. So on Wednesday at work I definitely got 2 MAJOR hits and a couple that could have been a hit or just the girls personality but I’ll go into detail when I have some free time. Just figured I’d post up that I’m glad I got AMMO and am anxiously waiting to pick up my A314 🙂
