:o Progress report for my dealings with [Instant Gentleman](https://a314.com/product/gentleman/) thus far: Instant Gentle has a lovely scent which I’ve gotten a few compliments on thus far. I’ve only gone out with it six times so far and never with more than 2 sprays, 2 times per night. I haven’t had any conclusive findings with effects on others thus far. Most “scientific studies” for such things are double blind and run at least 30 times. Given that I’m one person who’s not blind at all to this, and that I’m going about it with pseudoreplication (in using myself as the only instigator), the soundness of my study is tiny at best. …Oh, not to mention most observations are entirely subjective. The disclaimer being through… The effects on me: No noticeable emotional or behavioural effects which are contrary to un-Instant Gentleman’ed me. Effects on Others: I’ve been in the same room with about 5 others for around 6 hours at a time. In two cases, the room eventually became evidently full of anxiety and tension after about hour 3. This may have something to do with the 80% male ratio, or just with the particularly distasteful inter-socializings of others. One case I’ve done the same with people for up to 10 hours, but in a more “I’m the leader” kind of position. My leading was well-received throughout this session, and people did seem to take me more seriously than usual and listen to my every word. I reapplied at the halfway mark, and shrugged off the “did you just put on some cologne” questions pointed at me upon return. The other three times, there was little notice of anything peculiar at all. I would still like to try Instant Gentleman by itself during a date-outing to see what comes. I’ll post more observations to this thread after I’ve had enough experience with it to enhance my “study”. (maybe a month?)
