# Instant Gentleman? Instant Style.

I vote for keeping “Instant Gentleman”. It has brand name recognition and history behind it. People on here talk about it, and we all know what it refers to. Introducing a new name will introduce confusion of whether it’s the same product with a new name, a very similar product with new steering molecules, or a whole new product altogether.

Having said that, “Instant Style” has some merit to it. Let’s face it: many people buying [pheromone products](https://a314.com/shop/) on here are “nice guys”, self-proclaimed or genuine. So, when they see the name “Instant Gentleman”, they might think to themselves: “I’m already a gentleman; I don’t need this”, and not buy it (presumably opting for “Instant Jerk” instead, not always the best move). With a name like “Instant Style”, it advertises something those “nice guys” might not have, and might prompt them to buy a bottle, on top of whatever else they get. And the more people buy, the sooner economies of scale set in.

I think the name should change. I initially avoided this one due to the name. It just seems too stiff and formal, and I wanted people to feel more comfortable, casual.

It turned out to be one of my favs. It engages others with civility and tact. Actually, that makes it sound like the name is correct, but the name should make me want to try it!

To my ear Instant Style sounds too much like [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/).  
I’m fine with instant gentleman 🙂
