I did search about this and there wasn’t much that had been said. What have been your experiences when using this around someone you are already close to, who already tells you eveything or almost everything? Also, have you ever had a negative experience from it? (Not the fact that annoying people talk to you more often - that might be annoying but not deterimental.) For example, has anyone ever told you they never really liked you and were possibly only hanging around for money or to get rides to places, without also apologizing and saying they want to be your firend for real now? (Or any other like things they could have said, in a negative or mean way without the positive or guilty part.) I’ve got to order by the end of the today, I was thinking before 2:00 (it’s 4 now) so hopefully it’s not too late. But I am a little scared of negative effects with this one. ---

I recollect sometime back someone posted his LTR (wife?) told him she was addicted to crack while he was wearing IH. He wasn’t very happy to hear it but may have been better off for it. ---

I wouldn’t exactly call that a negative reaction. It is not something he was happy to hear, I am sure, but it is something he should (well; probably) know if he is married to her. Plus that is her being honest in a non-negative way. I was wondering about stuff like how they don’t like you or think something bad about you (or your family or your house or whatever). Then they might say it with IH but do they say it in a way that would make most people mad or would they put a positive spin on it when possible (like I said - with IH they’d tell you they want to be your friend for real now? But maybe if they had told you when you werent wearing it they would have only said the first part? I dont know). ---

Nah, I’m not worried about myself, NancyBoy, but thanks for the comment 🙂. Of course they can. But it depends on how they say it. If it inspires a feeling of closeness, like Liquid Trust does if you get a bottle that works, then they might be nice or feel guilty while telling you. It was obvious to me that they might say something they dont like you, it was the tone they have when they say it that I was asking about. ---

[Instant Honesty](https://a314.com/product/instant-honesty/) doesn’t impact the _tone_ of someone’s communication necessarily. People exposed to it (and this definitely includes the wearer, I don’t care _where_ you spray it - you’ll be influenced too) may be inclined to speak more freely (be less reserved) and say what’s really on their mind, but what they say and how they say it isn’t made gentler or nicer or more trusting by the pheromones. People describe IH as inspiring trust - I don’t really experience it that way. I see it more as breaking down verbal inhibitions, increasing the willingness to risk - but not because it feels _safe_. ---

I think Carrie nailed it. [Instant Honesty](https://a314.com/product/instant-honesty/)–like other androstenol products–encourages verbiage, e.g., free wheeling speech. IN my experience people are not necessarily more honest, endearing or introspective. They merely tend to talk more if they’re inclined to talk to you. However, if they don’t want to talk to you, Instant Honesty won’t override freewill. With that said, I like IH and considered it an essential product for social enhancement. Like other products, the success and direction of interaction is mostly up to you. IH merely gives ya one up. As for babbling your guts out, you’ll gradually develop a tolerance for IH with regular use. It doesn’t do a thing for me. But I’ve used androstenol products for over 4 years. ---

The reason I was asking is because when I asked about it people were saying it will make you “communicate at a deeper level” and things like that (which by your descriptions it would not do unless you are around someone who is very happy with you at that moment), and they also did not sem to agree much with the description of the product that the store gives as you try to buy it. From your posts, it does agree with that description, and I wish I could have bought Liquid Trust, which I probably should have done anyway if IH doesn’t work that way and EST is not allowed to be bought. I did buy IH but I guess I won’t use it unless there is a seperate situation from the one I’m looking at. Thanks for helping me figure this out. ---
