# Instant Honesty shield?

Hi gang. I’m new to using [pheromones](https://a314.com/). I bought my first TUTH recently but have been too busy to socialize to try it out.

Anyway, along with it they gave me a sample bottle of “INSTANT HONESTY”. But I was wondering if there is a way shield myself from its affects?

I can imagine blurting out “Oh! By the way I am trying to influence you by subjecting you to pheromones”….Which would not go down very well!

hello and welcome!

like you, turn up the heat was the first product i bought from here. but it wasnt what i expected. not a good choice for first time users.

but to get to the point, instant honesty is a good product to say the least. but it physically cannot make anyone say anything. but it does help in the sense they may feel obligated to say things like what is on their mind.

as for self effects, like what you mentioned you blurting out things like the influence, its all up to you.

but anyways, welcome to pherotalk!

Hi Hermes and welcome.

When it comes to [Instant Honesty](https://a314.com/product/instant-honesty/), I find that it works well to apply it to an area of the body that does not cause it to waft up my nose. The back of the head or the back of the neck works well, although the alcohol in the spray can cause dryness of the hair.

If it’s warm out and I’m wearing shorts or a skirt, I sometimes use the backs of the knees.

Although you are gonna get self effects from the products, and yes instant honesty can make you more honest than usual but pheromones don’t make you act against your personality.
