I’m 16, junior in high school, and 100% asian. I received my package for [Instant Openness](https://a314.com/product/instant-openness/), Instant Honesty, and Instant Shine (all 1x power) and tried out Instant Openness for the first time today. I sprayed 1 spray onto my wrist and split it to both hands, then sprayed another on the front side of my neck (total of 2 sprays). I went to school today and didn’t really notice much of a difference. Class at school is pretty chill, talking is permitted, and the teacher really never gets mad even if we start shouting in class. Only SOME classes the students are required to be really really quiet. So I don’t believe civility is what’s keeping others from wanting to interact with me. I try to be social and bring up topics but even with IO on today, I didn’t really seem to have extra prolonged conversations or new girls coming up to me (even during break). So, should I switch to a different product tomorrow, or apply more, or etc.? And does ethnic background (I’m asian) matter at all? And since it’s winter here, could it be that it’s not warm enough to allow the pheromones to diffuse properly? ---

First of all… You have to know this isn’t a “Girls coming up to me” products.. [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) do not do that… You have to make stuff happen, if your class is already chatty because all of you are already friends then of course you won’t see much difference ! ---

No, it’s not like that. The simplest and easiest way to understand it is this. My class is split into several cliches, and I’m part of another cliche. The other cliche is basically consisted of people I’m only KIND of friends with, just enough to know their name. I was hoping we’d be more friendlier towards each other today so we could maybe become closer (not just the girls, but other people as well). Also, isn’t it also quite the contrary? If the class is quiet, then although pheromones would be at work, it wouldn’t affect the students’ civil behavior, and their moral conscience would win out, no matter how much IH or IO tempt them to talk to me? ---

Well two other things may play into factor, your class mates may be used to your natural signature so either they don’t know how to react to the new you or haven’t the chance to adapt. For example when someone is married and is trying pheromones out we always recommend to introduce it slowly since they are accustomed to each others signature and watch for new behaviors. The second thing could be that the students are in their own circle of friends and cliques. They won’t just brake out of whats normal for them and approach you to make friends. You may have to invite them to talk to you by braking the ice. They may be curious to talk to you but not have the balls to start it. In any case you have the social lubricants being IO, IH, and IS.. when you do talk to people open to talking to you you should see that conversation flow! How about try IO and IS together to enhance your approachability. IH is for bonding and deeper quality conversations once you’ve already made that connection. It could be too intense for your class mates from right off the start. 🙂 ---

That’s the kind of response I wanted! Thanks for that! 🙂 What if I want to get closer with a specific person? Or PERSONS. I have a couple girls in mind, and they always approach me, wanting me to walk them to their next class or something, and I have no idea what to say to them as I walk them. They’re not girls that I have an attraction for, it’s just that I don’t want to be awkward around them and talk about the weather or anything. Advice on what to talk about and which product to use would be appreciated! I’ve known these girls since grade school but have just started to get to know them… Thanks in advance Ryan ---

Perhaps 2 sprays isn’t your “sweet spot”. Also, you only tried it for one day so far, give it a chance. It took me awhile to “get it”, but once you do, you’ll be fine. Stick with the IO for now, since you started with that. Use it regularly, in different doses, in different situations. You also need to be “congruent” with it, that is, you have to make some effort yourself - people aren’t necessarily just going to start talking to you, you need to position yourself in such a way to make it happen more easily, try starting a conversation with someone first, then watch it flow more easily than you might have expected. Plus, as TwistedOstrich pointed out, if you are around people who are already used to your phero signature, it make take them a little while to adjust to the new one. If its cold there then wrists are not the most productive place to apply. Do you happen to have an Ipad ? It has a infrared application on it. Use it and you will see your wrists and hands are cold compared to the rest of your body. Its very handy. IO is a social product but it can cause attraction as well. Your dosage is probably off a bit. I would start lower and work up testing in different environments. Keep in mind they do not do all the work for you. You need to work with them. They are a tool much like a spoon or a shovel. Suppose your trying to dig a big hole. You can do it with either object but only if you work with them. Some mones will work like a spoon for you. It gets the job done but takes more effort and time. Some will work like a shovel and work faster and be more productive for you. Unfortunately pheromones are not one size fits all though so you have to experiment to find what works like a spoon and what works like a shovel for you. Tisha ---

Tried [Instant Honesty](https://a314.com/product/instant-honesty/) today, and I THINK I got results. I’m pretty sure it was placebo effect though. I’m not sure if mones are right for me… ---

You’re spot on as well, I’ve read the exact same info on many other threads on here. I think that is probably the cause as to why it’s not exactly working for me…
