hi all. has anybody experienced headaches when using instant shine or any other products for that matter. after two days of use i have had a headache for about 2 hours after each application. do you think that its the phero’s or what they are mixed with? thanks ---

I’ve heard of people getting headaches with [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) - apparently TAA oil sometimes does not have the headache effect but you still get most of the IS effects. ---

IShine gave me headaches, and after a couple hours, slight depression/tiredness. Kinda sucked, XD; ---

As far as the headaches going away with time - I don’t know. Do a search through the women’s forum for IS and headaches ( I believe headaches are more common for females). I did have the same tiredness feeling after the IS wore off (approx. 4 hours after application), it was especially bad on days when I reapplied. The tiredness DID go away with time and continual use. Maybe try spraying on the back of your neck/away from your face to start off with.; ---

yeah i notice that if you smell your wrist constantly with your nose within 1 inch, and trying to go to sleep in class, it does give me head ache very bad. sucks. but i noticed after it went away that i was not depressed or tired. in any way. ---

The headach and other discomfort right after the application will definitly go away in a week or two of wearing any [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/), so dont worry! ---

i hope i dont get headache with instant shine among all the phero i bought.. thats my favorite scent… i love its smell more than ammo ---

Maybe some of us are more sensitive. IS 2x is the first product I’m testing and I got a short-term headache from just opening and smelling the bottle after it arrived. Now I’ve been trying it almost a week and I’m convinced it improves my mood and increases my energy for at least 3 hours. I’ve experienced some headache, bloodshot eyes and what some call the ‘crash’ when the self-effects wear off. All of those things are getting better as I’m becoming accustomed and learn what works for me. Maybe my ‘mental notes’ to avoid negative effects might help another: 1. Start with only ONE spray of IS and give it time. Add additional sprays later to increase/prolong good effects. 2. Keep it away from my eyes when it is fresh. Don’t spray my head in a breeze or near the AC vent. Don’t rub my eyes after spraying. Don’t spray my face. (Yep, don’t ask. :o I’m a noob 😃) 3. Wait 10-15 minutes after spraying before sealing myself into a car. ---

This is common with Ishine and it passes. Your neurotransmitters in your brain are overloaded. Similar to a caffeine headache. Your body does adjust but I suggest a few tricks that can help. Dont spray it under your nose line, so your chest and neck are out. Spray it to the back of hair or neck or a bit lower on the body. This way you wont be inhaling as much. When you are spraying it on hold your breath till the mist settles. This way your not inhaling alot of wet mones. Tisha ---

But I kind of rubbed it in through the whole of my hair. I got a headache much later, about 6 hours later. Maybe it was a cumulative effect through smelling it in my own hair all day, and my brain said “I’ve had enough!” It did absolutely stink though (I have shoulder length hair, that I was tying back and then letting down again when I wanted the molecules to fly). Surely most of that’s from my own olfactory perspective though… it’s right up close to my face and nose I guess. So I imagine my neurotransmitters were having a heck of a workout! My next hair app - IFM… ---

i didn’t get a headache until a good 4-5 hours after spraying myself, as it was wearing off i guess, then i reapplied and that made it worse.
