Hi everyone, new guy here and I had a question about just using [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) in combination with a good cologne. I’m also looking at Ammo, but it seems that it’s more of it’s own scent and not something that would be easily combined with a standard cologne. So is Instant Shine as a standalone do-able or would you recommend to add another to it? Thanks in advance! Mike ---

This depends on what you are seeking. I use instant shine as a stand alone and cover it with my cologne at times as well. Instant shine is scented with neroli which when it dries down can be covered with another cologne where you wont be able to smell the neroli anymore. I personally like the smell of instant shine and use it by itself a lot because it increases my mood and makes me more outgoing and witty and confident. Once it dries down the scent can be sorta faint but i still get hints of it as i move around even after 4 or 5 hours. So the answer is yes that you can cover instant shine if you would like to. [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) is scented at cologne strength which means you really wont be able to cover it unless you find a scent that is very similar to rather complement it. ---

It all depends what you want to do. What your goals are and what you want to accomplish. [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) is a feel good pheromone for people. Personally I use it everyday in conjunction with A314 and AMMO. ---

Instant shine is great as a standalone. People like to be happy and like happy people, its an attractive product, but in a different way then say, ammo. ---

All of the consumer line is excellent as stand alones. You do not have to layer them if you do not want to. I think people especially those new to Androtics miss that because they see all of the more experienced people layering huge amounts of products. The truth is that so many of us are just into mones so much we love to experiment and play with the mixes to create different vibes. So many people have the more is better mentality and with [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/) its just not true. There is a huge down side to over layering or over doing pheromones that people ignore. Pheromones are signals that help us communicate who we are and in doing so evoke emotions like interest arousal comfort etc etc… in others. People respond better to softer subtle comfortable communication. It can turn good mixes bad. Over using or over layering your mixes and signal mones is like walking up to someone and screaming at the top of your lungs when your talking to them. Its just to much. It turns people off and makes them uncomfortable. I rarely ever layer more then 2 consumer mixes together. Single mones are different and when I do make a mix, I pick the one molecule that creates the vibe I am looking for and make a mix using a low MCG of other molecules to steer that one in the direction I want them to take. This way they can compliment each other without being over bearing. IShine on its own is very warm charismatic attractive uplifting. Its pulls people in and hugs them without you ever touching them. Its a excellent mix. Tisha
