I decided to try instant shine by itself at work. I have concluded it doesn’t change my mood as other mentioned. But that’s okay. Because I know I shouldn’t rely on it doing so. Anyway, after 2-3 hours I felt extremely exhausted & tired. Is this a crash? I got pretty good sleep prior, but it became a surprise that I was tired & take a nap at work. Funny thing is my goal was to sleep early so I wouldn’t be tired the next day (at work). But I guess it was counter productive. Also after another 4 hours or so, I started to notice irritations. Any ideas?

Also, I think I might be feeling tired is during the middle of my sleep I continued to drink the rest of my bottle of neurosleep. About a quarter bottle left. At didn’t get as much sleep after which was only 3-4 hours remaining.

Yup that sounds like a crash. If you get them, its always worst at the beginning, so just hang-in there, you should get used to it. If not, reduce dose/steer clear.

Thanks mobo!

Now that I’m at home, I still feel my brain drained. Yet I have intense focus on the computer & getting things done?

This is exactly how my day went to day as well with my first time using IS, I was kind of disappointed, i crashed about 30 mins after, giving me an annoying headache. I then too noticed irritations on my arms where I sprayed it, that went away after a few hours…also didn’t notice any effects on those around me :\<

Thirty minutes - headache - irritation. That sounds more like a problem with the scent components rather than the actual pheros.

Only IS though. Used it again while I went out with my relatives. I felt great for the first hour. Then started to feel composed. I was like wtf?

Can just a scent really irritate skin? I was just using default [Neroli](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/androtics-neroli/) scent, as with the other few mones I use and those haven’t gave me any problem (p102, IO)

I haven’t experienced skin irritation. Everyone body can cause different effects. Keep testing. Test every other day. You probably are allergic to this specific product.

Anyone knows what actually **causes** the IS crash? Saturated neurotransmitters or something like that? Curious about the physiology behind this…

Quite easily - scents contain a wide variety of potentially irritating chemicals. I’m fine with all the main AD scents except for FF21 (Ammo) which gives me headaches and minor skin irritation but there are many other colognes and cosmetic products I have to watch because they trigger quite nasty reactions.

sprayed it over a 2 hour old IO spray spot, no irritation or headaches this time than the first time, will have to test more though.

IS is very well known for the crash. Hundreds of threads on this site.

Again, tested IS again after applying 3 hours of [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/). No irritation or any “noticeable” headaches/crashes. I just find it weird that my skin irritation is already gone after only using it once…hmm…might be because that day I didn’t have a lot of oil/sweat on my skin, so it got to my actual skin easily.

Irritation happens usually the first time of skin exposure. Looks like your all set.
