Hi Group I am looking to buy some mones to help me with job interviews. Most of my interviews will be with either financial institutions or information technology companies and they will be very formal. I need your help to pick the right mones. Here is what I have in mind. Pls give me your opinions. 1. I am planning to buy A314 (oil version or spray version, pls suggest), IH, IS and IG or IO. Can you pls tell me if these are the right mones I should be looking at and what combination. 2. How many drops/sprays of each of these should I use when I go for the interview so that I do not overwhelm myself or the interviewer. 3. Should I apply these directly on my skin or on the clothes 4. How long prior to the actual interview should I apply these? Appreciate all your help. rsk ---

1 - Oil is **always** best in a professional situation, for several reasons, notably subtlety, longevity per application, low scent and keying-in with your personality better. All these mones are good in this kind of environment, although IO and IG will not work well when combined with A314. IO weakens A314 and IG is a waste as A314 will smother IG’s lighter steering. Use less A314 instead if you ever feel the need to combine them. The combos I’d suggest you consider are A314 alone, A314/IS (good pleasant but competent teamwork vibe), A314/IS/IH (enhances A314’s trust and communication properties no-end) but for a formal professional environment, I’m inclined to A314 alone as your best-bet, with the other mones used to steer it for specific situations as you will not be able to use them day-to-day without working-in topups. Sprays don’t last all day like oils. 2 - We can’t tell you that. You need to test each individually before the interview to see what dose works best for you - and A314 oil takes longer to Sweet Spot compared to sprays. 3 - Skin, always skin. Clothes need far greater amounts compared to skin and still may not diffuse properly because some fibers (esp natural) will trap the mones very effectively, then stink! Oil apps need not cover big areas of skin to be effective. The area just in front of my ears or just below or behind them (each side) are favourite oil points for me, then the wrists and don’t interfere with me being fully suited. That leaves the neck (each side and back), front of throat and the other side of my wrists clear for sprays/cover scent. A **tiny** application of good quality hand lotion over my oil points before application also helps slow breakdown and get another couple of hours out of each app. Use the minimum needed to cover the app point and let it settle into the skin for a few mins before applying the oil. The penalty is a slight reduction in diffusion range but it is quite managable in day to day use. This also works for sprays but the extension is not nearly as long, so its much less useful. 4 - At least 30mins to an hour in order to let the scent settle to background level. Do not spray over an oil app (or vice versa) as you will mess-up diffusion. Avoid any ancillary cosmetic products containing triclosan or other antibacterials as they also destroy mones. A good quality cologne is usable as a cover but remember that many formal professional environments frown on strong scents, which again is why oil is good as it goes light enough to be usable in workplaces with a strict no/low scent policy. ---

Thanks very much for your help. I appreciate it. A couple of more questions; 1. In one thread I read that A314 oil takes a few days/weeks of application to set in and have some effect on others. But if I wanted the effect only on then interview day the I should the spray. I dont want to use A314 oil on a daily basis, as you know it is expensive. If I wanted to use mones only on the interview day, would you still suggest the A314 oil as opposed to the spray. Thanks again rsk ---

I personally am going to rock the boat here and say skip Alpha A314 in favor of [Instant Gentleman](https://a314.com/product/gentleman/). A lot of the effects people get form Alpha A314 I don’t but I do get them from Instant Gentleman. I’ve been testing it in every situation I can since this past Friday and just LOVE it. I’d go IG x 2, Instant Shine x 4, IO x2. I’ve not used that in an interview setting yet but based on application in various settings at that level, I really think it would work good. For me anyway. ---

It may however take people already used to you a few weeks to adjust and you will likely go through a similar period of adapting to your new sig yourself. Not convinced the spray will be any better and you run the risk of its more forward nature being too pushy. IG/IO/IS is also quite viable but its going to present a very different impression and much more social/engaging, so if that’s good for your personality, yes its worth considering. 🙂
