LOL You sound like me. I actually called Jasmin to tell her there was a mistake in the points section when I logged into my account because I had all these points I didnt know where they came from. She said the intro’s silly. I didnt even know I got points for that back then because Jasmin didnt send a notice out like Mick does.

Yes its called the first responder bonus. The first three people who respond to a new introduction get points. 500 for the first, 250 for the second and 125 for the third. However Jasmin set some rules and it had to at least try to be genuinely warm friendly and helpful to the new member. Answer questions, Help them with the products, help them get comfortable in the forum and welcome them into our forum community.

There should be a post in the stickies in the store section. Told you not everybody notices the sticky section LOL

I was surprised by it too. I was initially under the impression that all we got was like rep points and that nothing we did on the forums had anything to do with our accounts, even when I would get the pm’s I just assumed it was rep points and that’s all.

Nope rep points you only get from other members who read your posts and like them. I think a lot of members confuse that.

You can earn store points by referring people and for every dollar spent in the store as well as the intro reward program. They have a lot of ways here to help people out with the cost of mones.

For those who dont know you can only see your store points once you login to your store account then you click on points at the top and its written in blue at the top of that page.

What an interesting thread. I just decided to take a look down in the lounge section today and spotted this.

Thank Tish.

I do see and started to send my pm’s with the requirements because it’s become a real problem where I feel that persons are not actually trying to help the new user but themselves.

I really don’t know because like you said I have so much to do I can’t take the time to tell each and everyone what they should do but it is becoming rather hectic.

Steve and I did speak to Jasmin many times and of course when he came here John,to get help with the running of the forum.

I am not sure if they took it to mean we didn’t want to do it but we were simply trying to show them it takes so much work and effort to host/moderate a forum that you will need someone to do it full time.

Most persons don’t even realize how much work goes into it. Even replying and issuing out the gc’s depending on how much is there makes me a bit exhausted because I read the posts and don’t have the time to digest what the person said and give the proper feedback.

What I have done since I am sending pm’s reminding persons that just like gc’s you have to qualify for the reward points.

Of course, there are persons who were bold enough to pm me to query their points and when I try to explain to them why they didn’t qualify stop doing it and said it was because they didn’t have time. I knew better.

In response to you spinach. Issuing gc’s is not just cut and dry, I don’t necessarily have to agree with the post you made or the suggestion but looking at how warm you welcomed and the effort you put in I go ahead and reward you. Even when you say you are not 100% sure about the products but referred them to a link or the men forum or even a person on the forum that can help.

That is so much more helpful to me than giving the wrong advice or writing a bunch of stuff that doesn’t even make sense and looking like an idiot.

I am hoping that most persons that give reward points are reading this if my pm’s don’t do it.

Not to bash anyone but it really does make me angry because most of the persons here and those who are doing intros got help when they came and good help at that and to turn around and confuse others or give them crappy answers just for reward points is just disgusting.

I needed to get that off my chest. phew!

In terms of mixes. I don’t feel you should although most times even if you don’t the persons start off by mixing anyways which is no excuse.

combos are ok but i hate going in there and have to explain that you should test it out one by one after the person who suggested the combo.

Mixing and giving exact measurements are just totally wrong. Everyone is different and we all know about the sweet spot.

Taking into consideration some persons don’t care there are others who really don’t know the rules too much so hopefully they do better next time.

I try to be fair and even generous sometimes because I appreciate the help and it is nice when a persons comes in new and are bombarded with all this help and warmth from the community.

I hardly ever go to the intro section, but after this post I went over and looked around. The fact that points are awarded has led to serious abuse in my opinion. There are a cretain group of members who stalk the intro section. When a new member post at 8:00 and there’s a response at 8:02 you know that person is just in it for themselves. I noticed if the first 3 responses are taken the same group of stalkers don’t bother to respond. I also find it a little odd when a male newbie is giving a female newbie advice, but that’s just me.

I’m almost out of A314, maybe I’ll start stalking the intro section for some points.😉

Maybe there should be a cap on how many intro points a person can earn within a month/week etc. I go in there once or twice a week and yeah I see the same thing.

I think that given how there is a trend in what people are looking for, there will always be a bit of cookie cutter advice. However its a bit odd to see the same bulk advice given to each new member. Everyone is different. Case in point, in my intro thread I was looking for advice on work related stuff but the first responded kept banging on about attraction when I.had very clearly explained my intentions. It didn’t leave a good taste with me andthat is probably the reason why I don’t post in there. I don’t feel that I know enough to recommend anything. But i’ll probably be thinking that even after a year of being here. _shrugs_

I had to look up your Intro GT to make sure I didnt post in it (snort) 😛

I do see your point though.

I always go a little beyond just reading what they wrote. I read what they dont write, what they are afraid to write about themselves and not everyone can do that. They almost always leave little clues though. Its why people connect to me so easily. I can hear what your not saying out loud even online LOL.

I think the best thing to do is when someone gives “cookie cutter” advice to go in and correct them or give your own opinion even if your not getting points. Welcomes shouldn’t stop just because the first three spots are taken. I go in once in a while when I have time and answer in the 4 or 5th spot if I have something more to add.

We talked about caps a few years ago and other options. It just adds to the work load and especially now with the economy they are not equipped create more work. Plus it takes away from time spent on customer service, research and creating new products. Believe me when I tell you its very time consuming as is. Took me 3 to 4 hours a day just to do the GC’s and track stuff and that was without other moderating duties. The crew make it look so easy but its not.

> [@Rad](#):

> as a side note. I don’t know if Jas shared this idea with anyone else but back when she first suggested the possibility of MX297 being the "New [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) " I PM’d her with the suggestion that for first time buyers that AD might want to include either a direct link PDF download, or an actual hard copy of a small booklet with information on what the various molecules do and how to act in order to get the best possible results from them.

That’s actually something they dont want them to know. It taints the research. Jasmin wants you to act like you normally act when testing mones. You cant know if its the pheromones or your behavior any other way. Maybe on the consumer products but those are explained right in the store so there is no need for a booklet really.

Actually I did notice. Up unil recently I was a moderator on another forum so I can usually spot a noob. 😛 like tricia was talking about, there is a lot that can be read from what is not said or how they say it. I don’t think there is anything wrong if a.noob wants to chime in but even though I’ve been here for a few months ii still feel like a noob. There’s a lot to learn.:o

Dude I still feel like a newb, I’ve read as much as I can on the forums, I even looked into some books on [pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) science etc but I tend to reserve any advice to products I genuinely feel confident in understanding the effects of, or to advise on social behavior and adopting a proper state of mind so that the users don’t go in expecting far fetched miracles from the products and leaving disappointed because they didn’t get the axe effect.

I’ll skip posting if I either A…really don’t know how to answer the question posed, or B I feel the question has already been answered adequately. Doesn’t matter if my post is first, second, or third, if I feel I can contribute to the users learning experience I’ll post as the thirty third.

Now as I stated earlier, I’m a little more forgiving about generic sounding advice.
I don’t recommend Putatives or MX’s for newbies. I don’t think they know enough about what to look for in order to give accurate detailed reports. Heck we don’t even know if they’re interested in being reporting users. So inventory of products AD is researching could be bought by new users that have no plans of returning to offer feedback. This is why personally I steer users toward products that are already proven commodities and have a money back guarantee.
Beyond that, I believe that IG is both less expensive as a first time investment and easier to work with than A314 for respect, likewise I’ll usually suggest Ammo over TuTH for attraction, throw in a social or two and you have a good base mix that can be tweaked as needed for various occasions. I do make exceptions depending on the users info. Like I think for attraction an older gentleman can carry TuTH a little easier than a 21 year old college kid. Or a recent user that’s a shrink, I imagine is more alert and observant and can spot the more subtle effects of A314 easier than most newbies could. But outside of very specialized situations the best advice is to keep it simple.

I’d be more concerned if members were suggesting multiple spray of core product mixed with an MX and a couple of putatives in a kitchen sink mix that could give very unpredictable and possibly negative results.

I’ve been into mones for 3 years and I still feel like a newb too. I think a point should be made to explain the axe effect does not exist, but atleast once a month a newbie shows up looking for the GILROY.

If the question has been properly answered i’lll usually just cosign the correct answer.

Cookie cutter advice isn’t a problem for me. However when posters state that product a has to be used with product b, it prevents the user from finding his own best combo. IG is easily the most underated product out, I think the name makes people think it’s not sexual and they steer clear of it.

I’ve seen this happen and I’ve also seen noobs buying every mx and putative in a couple weeks. How can you determine how well a product like [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) is working for you when youre already adding p83, p74, p79 and p86 to it.

I also think I just saw a plagarized report the other day.

I don’t know for certain, but a real old thread got bumped. The original report listed dosages, race and hypothetical combos. The new report wasnt word for word but almost like a cliff notes. It’s entirely possible that the two poster came to the same conclusion, but things around here are starting to look odd.

Yeah, I see where your coming from and am just wondering what the point is for someone to do that. The only thing would be to become a reporting user, but it’s not like AD wouldn’t notice that. I realize also that the results could be similar, because they often are especially with the Instant Line, but still in my eyes “copying” someone really doesn’t DO ANYTHING for anybody.

Depends on the persons motives, if the person wants to be seen as a guru to boost their own ego it sort of makes sense. Ego has alot to do with more things than we believe, remember a while ago one poster was telling people to give him rep points in exchange for imaginary points.

Correct! You are a scholar and a gentleman for that I award you one gazillion karma points.
(Disclaimer: Karma points can not be combined with any other offers and have no redeemable value whatsoever).
I went to the intro section again and all I can do is shake my head in disbelief. Same group of people same cut and paste response. Oh well I think I’ll start stalking that forum. I mean how hard could it be.

Ammo- will get the girls attention
Shine- will make you happier and more confident
IO- will make girls talk to you
IH- will get a deepr connection
A314 and IG will get you respect

PS. I just saw another post in this section and it’s kind of sad how a couple of people can abuse the system.
