I will say this UNLESS someone is VERY specific in their INTRO it is sometimes hard not to just explain products to them… {as I accidentally bump your rant mode “on” button}![]()
Yea sometimes if they don’t specify generic info is best instead of them running off to buy tuth and then complain it doesn’t work. Of course probing questions would be a good idea to get a better answer for theem. Maybe I should start poking in there as well.
I think you pretty much should explain the consumers to them or at least why your suggesting what you are to them. Its not like they are in testing or your influencing them. They are described in the store. Explaining what they do generally and why your suggesting them for that person shows your paying attention to there needs and not just blindly answering the post.
Even with the non specific ones who just post a sentence of two you can pick up things about them. Maybe thats easier for those who took NLP training but one simple word and how its placed can say volumes about someone.
I think when it comes to copying people should quote who they copy if its word for word. However we all learn things from each other here and sometimes there is just so many ways to covey that info so its seems the same as someone else’s. New people dont have as much experience to convey there own information in the intro section so they convey what they have learned from others. I dont think there is anything wrong with that.
I just dont like when people copy and paste there own response without ever really reading what the person is saying. When it seems computer generated and impersonal. The whole point of the intro section is to make people feel welcomed into the community and to avoid AD having to use a computer generated response. To show we are real human, not some auto responder. Some of our opinions and advice will be the same and some will differ but thats what makes it more human. Unless someone states blatantly wrong information there is no properly answered questions just opinions that resonate with your own. Its all opinion and experience.

It’s not really describing products for them as appose to telling them why you recommend a certain product for them and usually to do that you will put in some description into it.
I find too many times it’s just like wear this and that.
We are forgetting that persons are attracted to this site because of the information. Wearing pheromones should not be a blind experience but rather an insightful one so it’s a great idea to start them off with you use this becuz, you do this becuz…etc etc ![]()
