Hi, guys I’m doing some research by reading forum posts before placing my first phero order. “[Instant Gentleman](https://a314.com/product/gentleman/)” sounds more like my style than A314 but seems to be for younger users from what I’ve read…is that right? I’m 39…would IG be a good buy for me? Thanks Adam ---

Hi Adam I too had the same questions, so the only way to find out was to order it and try some myself. I tried 2 sprays alone at work on Thursday, and I felt a more soft-hearted alpha-vibe. Get the job done in a more open alpha way, rather than in a “take no prisoners” A314 mood. I found all my female buddies in the comapny as well wanting to be more by my side compared to wearing A314. A couple of them even walking me right back to my desk when i chatted with them, as opposed to what they normally do - walk away from me in the kitchen area after I’ve had the conversation with them wearing A314. To me it feels more gentle and comforting than A314, with the similar type of [pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/) mix and a more comforting and gentle alpha-vibe. No wonder they called it Instant GENTLEman. Haha! The only other time I wore it was at 3 sprays, but combined it with a few other products for an interview earlier this week, so it was hard to tell what effect it exactly had then. BTW, I’m 34 if you’re age-curious. ---

The main pheromone in both A314 and Instant Gentleman is androsterone. It’s a masculine pheromone with a peaceful alpha vibe, hence the association with maturity, authority and a fatherly aura. As a an older man, it’s easy to jive with the androsterone vibe. Younger men are the ones with incongruent behavior and appearance, so they have to work hard to match an androsterone signature. For a man over 30, it should be as easy as falling off an log… I often wear A314 and chemset brews of androsterone at work. Makes for a clear chain of command and respectful communication. The problem with too much androsterone is it is usually counterproductive for dating and light social events. Coming off as authoritative and mature is a turn-on for some women, but in my experience tends to put distance between you and those you wanta hookup with. Makes for stiff conversations too. In light of that, after work I always buffer androsterone with plenty of [social pheromones](https://a314.com/product-category/social-pheromones/) and a wee bit of androstenone for edginess. You really don’t wanta look 'n feel like an authoritative father figure. Of course with the high incidence of single parent families, lots of younger women have a daddy thing so it’s not all bad. Thanks for the replies Think I’m going to go with [Instant Gentleman](https://a314.com/product/gentleman/) and Ammo and maybe a ToGo size of something else for my first order. I guess you’re right, I need to experiment and see what works best for me. I will try each phero separately and let you know my results. Adam ---

Hey Adam, Bosshank and I are both big fans of IG. We are both mid 40s and use it as a change up from A314. You can use the advanced search feature to filter posts by poster name. I also think Bosshank has a thread in his signature block that talks about IG. ---

Wearing 1 spray of Ammo my hits haven’t been consistent (maybe I’m not picking up on them?) but if I add 2 sprays of Instant Gentleman the reactions I get increase 10 fold. I get Self effects of Instant Gentleman making me feel really confident so maybe that has some effect but I’m not sure. Ammo as a standalone for me: sometimes I see attraction in girls other times I don’t. Adding Instant Gentleman: I notice more girls are attracted and make there attraction more obvious. It is worth adding though that when wearing Instant Gentleman self doubt disappears and I just presume girls are attracted me. I can see why it gets it’s name “Instant Gentleman” but for me at least it’s a little bit “Instant Ego Inflation”, not in a condescending arrogant sense more of a at peace with oneself and not requiring validation from anyone sense. ---

1 spray [Instant Gentleman](https://a314.com/product/gentleman/) is OK… I’ve never tried more honestly. Based on my experience with pure androsterone at 5mcg/spray (I get self-effects even from 5mcg androsterone- and it does effect other people too), I think 10mcg of androsterone in Instant Gentleman is more than sufficient. It also contains meo-est, I believe (?). At any rate I don’t think the meo-est contributes significantly to the effect, but it could be a very subtle effect I don’t notice. ---

OK, I’ve ordered [Instant Gentleman](https://a314.com/product/gentleman/), Ammo, and Instant Openness so I can give these things a fair try. I will start off slow and with small amounts and build up to see what effects I get from using them. Then I’ll maybe try mixing them in various ways. Instant Gentleman mixed with Instant Openness is mentioned on the Instant Gentleman store page, so I may try that as my first mix. Adam ---

i’m 49 and use instant gentleman as a stand alone with noticable effects on others and self. gives of a smooth calm peaceful vibe that is coupled with confidence and inner strenght. it seems to make me more aware of my muscles ,they seem to tone up. i got good results at some workshops from strangers , resect from males and females were very freindly and many wanted to hang out near me. most the folks here were ages 30 to 1. i think its a good alternative to a314 if you want a more layed back vibe ,a314 is for business and work. instant gentleman would be good on a date [mabe add some alph and beta nols] i use 3-4 sprays of instant gentleman to chest forearms and jawline.
