# Is it safe to dilute pheremones with cologne.

I know people usually dilute their [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) with the Perfumers Alcohol you can get in store, but could you dilute it with some cologne / perfume instead?

By safe, i mean will the phero effects still be there. I’m guessing they should be, just wanna hear from some people with some more experience in the area.

it is all relative to how much you use and what effects you want…

Most of us die hard testers and myself like blatant results at night, during the day I can be fine with just me sans mones, it depends what you want.

It depends on what mone product and the ratio of dilution. Most AD products are dosed and additional dilution compromises their effectiveness. However, you can buy Experimone at high concentration and dilute them. For example, 62.5mcg Experimone alpha androstenol mixed 5 parts cologne to one part mone yields a dilution close to that of IO. Now if you did the same thing to IO, you’d turn into bloody cologne dude long before you sprayed enough for a reasonable dose.

Some commercial products are designed for dilution. For example NPA is design to be mixed with 5 parts cologne to one part NPA, approximating the dose of TE.

In my experience cologne needs 4 or 5 parts to one part mone to retain its character and covering ability. Any less and the cologne craps out.

Thanks Guys, i ordered some p75, and i read that it needs to be diluted down pretty low, to about 2.5 or even 1.25 mcg per spray.

I did buy the perfumer’s alcohol along with my order, i’ll probably just end up using that, and keep my colognes seperate, but it is a good thing to know.
