I have read somewhere in the past week that Oudh other wise know as aleiswood oil, is the most strongest and erotic fragrance in the world. Now i am thinking of purchasing some, so my friends if any of you have had any experiance of Oudh and know any reputable supplier, let us know. Thanks. ---

Oud is distinctive… and very often many things that are not Oud, it is a highly adulterated product most of the time… is it the most erotic ? I really don’t think so, there are many things more erotic to my senses… it can be a good element in a great fragrance like Montale… sometimes a perfectly realized L’Artisan or Hermes has the balance, class, distinct style that make it most erotic… ---

I find oud by itself to be more spiritual than erotic. What’s erotic on or to someone depends on the person, their own style and sensibility, their innate scent. It’s not so much the scent as the synthesis of that scent on _that skin_. (echoing the suggestion of Montale if you want to try a beautiful scent with a base containing oud - Black Aoud on the right man can be divine.) ---

If you look [here](http://www.pherolibrary.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13524) there is a 263 entry discussion of this very issue. You will find that there are a number of “flavors” of oud and several reputable dealers are mentioned. Personally, I like for a cold weather scent, I find it too “heavy” for hot weather. The stuff is very concentrated and a little goes a long way. Be careful though, once you start playing with this stuff, you’ll be hooked.😮 ---

IMO… if you love great fragrances, many ARE erotic works of art… and many knock-off fragrances are as awful as the bad imitations of masterpieces they sell out of the back of white vans… you will have to do some personal experimentation, and because of two things… one is an outrageous amount of product counterfeiting in the fragrance business, and another is that many out-of-date, rancid, old stock of real product is being sold as “primo” on the grey market… I would only purchase from the most respectable counters, like Bergdorf Goodman, and pay full retail… I have heard so many horror stories of somebody thinking they got a great deal and the product smells like defective bathtub cleaner… When you finally “get” what a great Creed (not all Creeds are, but when they are…)… or a great Hermes… you don’t need too much, only a touch will make your head spin in the right directions… I do have several Oud based Montale, and they are exquisite, however the fineness of Montale isn’t only the Oud, it is the artistry of combining things just right… such as normally I would never wear a rose fragrance, Montale is the only exception and I’ve had women go dizzy over it without making myself seem like an old lady… You do have to do a lot of experimentation… many product launches that ought to be great, unfortunately, are not great, often some are outright hideous, and you wonder, what were they thinking to make such useless stuff ? Then you find some magical niche thing that nobody is aware of, or will not dare to be the first, and you can sense the subliminal reaction around, “wow, what IS that ???”… One should always be on guard NOT to be mistaken for those fragrance encapsulated strips that stink up Vanity Fair and other metrosexual publications… it affects people like having a giant nose ring or something, you are forced to pay attention to something you would rather not… ---

Hi, I don’t know about Oudh being the most erotic fragrance, but it sure rates high in my book. I bought some from this guy on eBay, and it is a scent that lingers, and only a little bit is needed. It is great for using with [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/). I think that his id is hamfir, or something like that. I was reading some of the postings about the link between blood type and pheromones, and was wondering if anyone has information about which work best with B+. ---

I have delt with “Ham\_Firl”,and he is a great seller.There is also Ava Luxe perfume line.She sells an Oud perfume.It does not smell sweet like you would think in perfume lines,but it does smell like Oud,(agarwood,aloeswood).Very woodsy,very close to what I have gotten from the middle east.I have a sample if anyone would like it,its to manly for me. ---

Ham\_Firl is reliable and his free airmail shipping is fast, considering how far away it’s coming from 🙂 I’d advise, though, if you order one of his oud oils, don’t get the light one from India that’s about 25 bucks for 3 cc; be prepared to spend more for higher quality. If you don’t want to spend a lot, get just 1 cc of one of the better ones (you will only wear a trace of it, so even 1 cc will last you), or get an atar - Atar in the name means it’s not pure oud oil, but blended with something else (traditionally it means an essential oil co-distilled with sandalwood but he doesn’t specify) - it will still probably be very intense, though. ---

Agree with almost all of the above. Personal tastes run the gamut of light to dark Ouds. Like Carrie I prefer the darker ones, but they are an acquired taste to many people. The lighter Ouds exhibit different properties, but are very nice. 1cc can indeed last for weeks if worn every day. DO NOT judge the scent as smelled from the vial. It will mature on your skin very differently, and seems to be change with every passing moment. Hence the love of this oil, and its mystery. There is nothing like it. Spiritual? I don’t know, I don’t attach the two. Personally I like to layer it with other pure oils, and I’ve had great success with Sandal, Rose and Jasmine I love it on its own, but I’ve experienced a love/hate relationship with women. One woman nearly ate my arm. Another flinched. Its wonderful effects can be achieved with your own experiments, or on its own. H-F’s atars are great, milder than pure oud, and seem to be sandalwoodish to my nose. I like them a lot. He also has other pure oils like Sandal and Musk. I’m not affiliated with him in any way other than a purchaser and user of his products. Another good supplier of Oud is Oriscent. These are the only two vendors I’ve tried. Can’t recommend it enough if you want an exotic and powerful scent. Greg ---

Hi. I am new here and I saw this page from yahoo search engine. I love scents that make my mood better like Oud, Ambergriss, Sandalwood, Musk, or anything else that you recommend. To my surprise, some of you have tried ham\_firl’s Oud products. I like his products too and I used a lot of his product whenever I feel down. I travel a alot due to my work and most of the time I am base in Asian countries. I work in Garment factory. Personaly I agree that Oud is the most erotic fragrance. But you musk have internal booster too. Without internal booster, it is erotic but without the all night long. ---

Did u get the pure ones or the “ATAR”. Internal booster is like pure honey, oyster or amber or rock amber, these will boost your sex drive internally and especially pure honey (Arab honey), it will give you stamina and solid erection. Its fantastic and strong. Even the Agarwood “ATAR” are very good for the price and scents. Internal booster means something that will boost you from the inside and ln long term. Examples are Yemeni’s Honey, Oyster, pure amber (too expensive), rock amber & chick peas. I have tried these and I find that the best is the Yemeni’s honey. This yemeni’s honey is far better than the New Zealand or Australian honey. This will make you stand longer, more solid and concrete and make your dick harder and bigger. Someone of ham\_firl’s buyer told me this. I do not believe and try his 10oz honey. Now I am buying from him regularly. I purchase from him outside ebay. Get a little discount. Do u know that I also got civet oil mix with oud from ham\_firl too. This guy has a lot of good stuff. Thanks to Belgareth for recommending me. ---

I got the Oud Attar, but forget what type of Sandalwood. Another thing that I’ve heard that helps is Gogii berries. You can get them at natural food markets, and they are pretty tasty. ---
